Location is very close to Metro, bus and shopping, 20min walking distance to Rossio square. The room is just enough for two persons, nothing to complain. We reached the hotel around 7:45 am and the staff was kind enough to accommodate us early.
The hotel had two elevators but only one was working, had to wait few minutes every time.

Location was good walking distance most of places.
Breakfast. Unexpected long lines because out of order coffee machines. 3 days same problems but employees tried to find solution with an amazing effort. Unfortunately their ability were limited. We informed manager about the situation. Another issue Breakfast area is not sufficient place when hotel capacity at high level. But deserts and sweet food was amazing for others especially cheese variety they need to improve.

This hotel is located in a very safe area. Don’t look at kilometres because it is nothing compared to the amount of steps u will do every day around Lisbon. The most important that u can return back at 23.00 alone and not be scared. Location is really good. Breakfasts were very nice. Eggs/ bacon/ greenery/ cheese was wonderful/ pastel de nata/ apple pie was amazing/ coffee was good/ try tea (tea was very quality) / may be when season will come - there will be cucumbers and tomatoes also. If u think area is small for breakfast - don’t think. All people were civilised and breakfasts were very comfortable. Also they have Welcome Drinks. Once u come from a long walk - u can refresh yourself on reception with water with lemon. As per room - there will be basics (body lotion/ hand wash/ shampoo/ gel for shower). But I recommend to take all your personal cosmetics with u because usually we have allergies to unknown products. This is normal practice. If u need something - u can always ask guys on reception. They will provide whatever u need. They are very helpful. Bed was nice. There was smell in the room because in the bathroom looks like is no ventilation. But I opened balcony - problem was solved. Let’s keep in mind this is Europe and buildings are not brand new. So these things are normal. If u want to be picky - of course u will find disadvantages in everything. I am the person who visited more than 40 countries and I am a woman. So comfort for me is important. This hotel is nice. Book it, believe me u will not regret. And don’t be shy to ask guys on reception for help. As per Sintra, my big advice to dedicate one day of your vacation, take a train and go there on your own early in the morning. Book entrance to Sintra beforehand please. Plan your trip to Sintra on your own because u will need the whole day to spend there. Excursion is not enough. U will need more time there. But u have to visit Paco da Roca. Great place.

Clean and nice
Our shower flooded due to a blocked pipe. The reception said that the maintenance man would not arrive until 9:00am.
We returned to the room at 3:00pm and discovered that the problem had not yet been fixed.
We went back to the reception again, who promised that the maintenance man would come up to fix it right away. Another 45 minutes of waiting and nothing.
We went down to the reception again, the nice girl apologized, tried to compensate us by entering for a free breakfast, but the maintenance man still did not arrive.
Until I got angry and said that I would not move the reception until he came up with me in the elevator... Another 20 minutes of waiting and then he arrived.
In my opinion, service is beyond the basics. Basic was not here. This is a problem that was solved in 5 minutes of work and because of which a lot of heartache was caused
The reception manager promised again that she would think about fair compensation but never got back to us with an answer.
The breakfast provided also failed to compensate because it lacked vegetables, cheese to spread or vegetarian/vegan options.
Disappointing.

The first room to the main street was very noisy. We asked to switch room in the middle of the night, which was possible without any problems. We were moved to the other side of the building which was extraordinarily quiet. Thanks a lot for that!!

The location is really nice. It smells and looks clean when we first arrive 4pm until I saw the bathroom with molds and when we came back from our sight seeing around 9pm there’s a distinct smell coming from the restroom (most likely sewer) and seems like it’s a usual problem in hotels in Portugal. Staff were nothing but helpful and professional.

The room had very good air conditioning and it was also very spacious. You can also keep your luggage there if check in is not available yet and also after if you have a late flight (free of charge).
