Áurea Museum by Eurostars Hotel Company is a unique 5-star property located on the banks of the Tagus River, in a historic building in Lisbon's iconic Alfama quarter. Great breakfast, front desk staff was excellent.
It’s annoying to have to make a reservation to use the spa facilities - it would be nice to be able to just go down at your leisure - but we didn’t have any problem with availability.

Fantastic staff who were very welcoming and looked after us very well. Location is excellent with a short walk to all of Lisbon’s downtown attractions. Definitely would recommend.

Elegant, mixed the morden and history very well.
The music in the floor corridor is very loud. Some facilities are not well, bathroom doorknob doesn’t work well. The room door had noise when closing. The bed cover has kind of dust smell.

The staff there was amazing. They did everything they could to make sure our stary was memorable. The staff in the dinning area were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. A plus was that the food was delicous and always fresh. The loation was very convenient, within walking distance to many restaurants and coffee shops. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Excellent staff. The only negative was the lack of a bar in the hotel but there are many nearby.

OK, firstly, in my opinion, this hotel is in a great location, near the harbour with great access to the front of Lisbon and a short walk to loads of bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is spotless, and the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help you, whether it’s sorting the pool out for you or helping you with restaurant advice— they are so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is fabulous with a wide variety and also the ability to ask for fresh omelettes or Eggs Benedict, which is all included in the price. We even got coffee after we had checked out and were collecting our bags and waiting for our Uber, and they didn't charge!!
There is very little wrong with this hotel, if you are looking for an Olympic sized indoor pool then this is not for you, but as its small they have a reservation system which means its never crowded so you can't complain.
