Perfect location in city center with the most beautiful view!
The building was safe with a code to enter and an elevator which was very helpful.
It was difficult to open the front door at times and it was a bit tricky, but we figured it out

Duque was a like a home away from home. It's the perfect apartment for a family of three or four. We loved the location. The apartment is on a quiet street, but just steps away from cafes, restaurants and some of the must-see tourist sites in Lisbon. We were still here again!
The master bed is really a full-size bed.

We were in the penthouse apartment. The apartment was bright, charming, and immaculate. The views were fantastic. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great location--safe, near restaurants and stores but on a quiet street, and steps away from the train, the metro, and the trams.
No complaints.

I wanted a quiet location at night and Duque's Apartments surpassed all my expectations. There were restaurants at either end of the little street, but once the windows were closed you did not hear a thing. Location is brilliant, walking distance all things a tourist needs to see. Also being located in the Chiado district it is quieter than other districts which are just a short 5 min walk away if you are after all night bars and music. Our hosts were brilliant and answered any emails I had promptly. I can not speak highly enough of the hosts, nor the apartment. We had the apartment on the second floor - with brilliant views over the roof tops of Lisbon. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you might need.
Potentially a little booklet giving the names and location of a grocery store and laundromat near by. I had to email the hosts for this information- and yes they came through quickly with these answers. With the booklet I would not have had to bother them for this information.

Location was great. Very central to everything.
It was tricky to move our suitcases along the cobblestone street. The Uber could only drop us at the entrance to the street due to narrow street and parked cars.

Pictures on site show exactly how the apartment is. Many little things show care for beauty, history and comfort. The intent of the owner is to make the guest stay comfortable and easy. At the same time they are very organized and drive you gently through the processes to be followed. Location - at the hearth of old town Bairro Alto / Chiado - is fantastic.

The location was very strategic, close to the most interesting sites but not too close to the nightlife, so we could sleep without being bothered by outside noise. Overall, the location felt safe and the apartment was of the right size for a short amount of time.
The bed in the bedroom was a little small for two people, but it was possible to use the couch in the living room, and it was okay. The bathroom could be improved with an additional fan system.

Great location, excellent timely communication from owners. Apartment is basically furnished (not a negative!), yet had all that a 4 day stay needed.
The nespresso machine had a tiny leak, so we found out after first use, not to leave water in it. A minor thing.
They could cater for recycling of trash with a separate bin for it.

Great central location, with equipped kitchen, clean bathroom. The view of the town was superbe and the highlight of the apartment.
The bed and couch could have been a tad more comfortable.

The apartment was a lovely mix of modern and stylish old pieces which gave great character. Good shower and clean bathroom. Great to have fresh towels part way through our stay. Most fantastic was the lift !! After a day of sightseeing and going up and down the steep streets and steps of the city to get a lift when you arrived home was such a treat!! Equally easy and excellent was the taxi transport from the airport to the apartment. We arrived in evening so glad to be taken door to door with our bags. There were good restaurants nearby. and short walks to different metro stations. We also appreciated have coffee pods prided for the machine. We had a lovely time.
We did not find a good supermarket nearby though there were places for basics of drinks and snacks - we used the shops in the stations instead.
