Beautiful and in every way beyond expectations. Brilliant food service and delicious food. Clean comfortable and very stylish place.. The included yoga sesions & etc each morning were superb. Reception staff are all particularly helpful friendly and efficient. Definitely plan to return, or to other Selinas.

Beyond all expectations!. All staff very friendly and super efficient. Beautiful place. Lovely comfortable spacious dorms with plenty of storage. Excellent facilities. Excellent morning yoga. Definitely will go back.

Excellent location, walking distance to a number of attractions. It was the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in. The bed was super cozy with comfortable duvet.

Great facilities and a comfortable bed. Centrally located, despite going down a side street to enter
The room had a strong musty smell and there wasnt adequate ventilation. Showers could use actual ventilation in them too, as you can see how mould will grow.

If you want a hostel, its a good one. If you want a hotel, its not up to scratch
Not clean enough. No roof on hallways. Very loud. Bed not comfortable. Low quality furnishings. No hand soap!

- many party guests - we found their remains in front of our door the next day; if the hotel knows about these kind of guests it should make sure to regularly clean floors and bathrooms early in the morning (our bath was regularly not checked before 10am).

I have traveled extensively in my lifetime and stayed in accommodation in some rough places but I never felt as scammed as I have after stayin at Selena secret garden, it's hard to like anything about this place
I booked a trip to Lisbon as a birthday present for my wife, The taxi driver dropped us off at the end of a long alleyway in the old town part of Lisbon , The taxi driver looked confused as theGoogle maps app on my phone but it was pointing us up this alleyway so off we went My wife's grip tightened as we picked our steps through the contents of overflowing rubbish bins ,The stench of rotting waste filled the air, I tried to reassure her that it would be ok once we got inside but alas I was wrong, While the place may not have been dirty it sure looked and felt tired neglected & dirty, see pics of carpet in lobby, I booked this place over hundreds of other places in Lisbon for one reason only, It had a rooftop open air bar and common recreation area, however suprise suprise ! This bar was closed for maintenance the week we arrived, they never informed me. I checked the internet and they still advertised it as available on Booking.com, blatant false advertising, Management response was to use the indoor bar restaurant instead ( not what I paid for) other observations , The health and safety of it guests doesn't appear high on the hotels list of priorities, The pic of the bedroom attached is actually the back of the door where the fire escape plan should be. The pool pic the use of Booking are misleading The pool is tiny and is situated on floor level 0 , It has 3 story buildings towering above it on 4 sides so there is plenty of shade all day long,! seating for a handful of people around the pool is all that is available , We checked out after staying one night. It's also not cheap to eat and drink there , An all round terrible experience,

the room was clean. staff are nice. the best thing about staying here was the surprise of a vegetarian/vegan restaurant attached.
no air conditioning so you have to leave the window open and it was very noisy until 2 am every night. also the smell of cigarette smoke comes in. the price of a room is way too expensive for what you get. no tv. no air conditioning and a lot of late night noise.
