I appreciated that the hotel accommodated my request to cancel my subsequent nights stay, although I am still awaiting the refund from Booking. I would also like to extend my gratitude to David, the bellboy, who was very courteous and helpful in assisting us with our luggage. His service was a highlight during our stay.
During my stay at Dom Pedro Hotel in Lisbon, I found it inconvenient that there was no designated smoking area available in the mornings. Additionally, the staff displayed a lack of willingness to go above and beyond to address this issue, leaving me feeling underserved and compelled to cancel my subsequent nights stay and relocate to a different hotel. I advise potential guests not to be misled by the hotels star rating; it seemed to me that the higher the number of stars, the poorer the service and staff responsiveness. Furthermore, the overly opulent ambiance of the hotel did not appeal to me, ultimately resulting in an overall unsatisfactory experience.
