Wonderful
The hotel is charming with generous rooms and modern facilities. The spa is small but very relaxing. Breakfast was great with lots of options s and no rushing. Staff were all friendly and welcoming.
The steam room didn’t seem to have any steam but oethaps I didn’t use it correctly?!

The location of this hotel is incredibly convenient, as it is situated right near the city center. It made getting around very easy. I also really appreciated the friendly gesture of housekeeping leaving a small piece of chocolate for each of us every night—it was a lovely and welcoming touch.
Unfortunately, the hotel falls short in several major areas. First, the facilities and equipment are quite outdated. Second, despite being a 5-star hotel, it is definitely not suitable for family travel. They do not provide any children's amenities whatsoever, which was very disappointing. However, the most baffling part of our stay was how incredibly stingy the hotel was with paper products. We are a family of three and stayed for five nights. During our entire stay, we were given a grand total of only three small rolls of toilet paper and about a dozen facial tissues. Even when the cleaning staff noticed we had completely run out, they would only replenish a few individual tissues at a time. It honestly gives us the impression that tissue paper in Portugal is more expensive than gold! To make matters worse, on the morning of our departure, we had no choice but to directly ask housekeeping for another roll of toilet paper. When the staff member brought it to our room, their attitude was noticeably unfriendly. Having to beg for basic necessities—and receiving bad attitude in return—is completely unacceptable for a 5-star establishment. It was a very disappointing way to end our stay.

Location , view and quality finishings.
Some noise coming from other bedrooms ( we could even hear showers from the room above ), which suggests that the rooms could be better insulated. However , it was not a big deal , just a minor inconvenience.
