The staff was extra kind and helpful.
Our room has on the lower floor by the pool, people above us walked all night up and down their room with clunky shoes on wood ( or faux wood ) floors. Very noisy and impossible to sleep. That room needs a rug or carpeting!

Lots of care taken by staff with customers: very helpful and friendly, support for us leaving for an early flight (booking transfer; providing early breakfast), touching letters of thanks left in the room, quiet efficiency at breakfast. Great range of breakfasts. Intelligent use of space within the hotel, so didn't feel like sardines, even though quite a few rooms in a compact space.

Beautiful little hotel in perfect location for exploring Lisbon. So quiet and peaceful for a central location. Lovely breakfast each day. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly throughout our stay. A special mention to Ines - she so kindly and professionally went above and beyond to help us sort out a payment error we had in a nearby restaurant, even though we had already checked out. She even remained in contact after we had left country until it was resolved. Will definitely visit Lisbon again, so much to see and do, but would only want to stay in Dear Lisbon - Charming House!

Very cute boutique hotel up a quiet steep lane (v hidden!). Part of the Dear Lisbon group of hotels (Ive stayed in Gallery House before). Staff are great and couldnt be more helpful. Room, because I requested a balcony room, was on the 3rd floor so a bit of a trek with my heavy cases but having balcony was lovely! Room was in the eaves so quirky but not large with areas of unusable space! Very quiet. Drinks on the terrace downstairs were a nice feature though the weather didnt lend itself to using the pool unfortunately! Included Breakfasts were good. The excellent helpful staff give this hotel the A+!
It was somewhat cramped at breakfast time with many guests all manoeuvring around the breakfast area. A lift would have made it as stairs, especially with luggage were a challenge, although the staff were very helpful! The bathroom was almost like a prefab and needed a refurb and the ventilation wasnt good.

Its a great location to explore Portugal. The grounds are impeccable in terms of cleanliness. The staff is so welcoming. They are so helpful very accommodating could not ask for a better group of individuals.
There was absolutely nothing we did not like about the property. The staff even helped us carry our very heavy luggage up the stairs, and one of the staff members actually rolled my wifes suitcase down to meet the Uber at the end of the hill. talk about being accommodating!

The staff was really kind and warm with us. They always helped us with whatever we needed, they even sent us an email with suggestions for Porto when we mentioned that we will go visit. The breakfast was tasty. The location of the hotel was amazing being within walking distance from the main attractions and city center.
The room was nice, but it was smaller than expected. Two average sized people and two large suitcases would fill the room.

From the outside you would never have imagined such an oasis lay inside. The interiors are elegant and eclectic. The bedroom we had was perfectly appointed. The staff were truly delightful; all young and all helpful and polite.
Absolutely nothing. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Everything was wonderful! Great contact before our arrival, we arranged for an airport transfer that was absolutely perfect and priced very well. The hotel was a old house that has been converted into a boutique hotel. It is full of art, lots of cozy places to sit and relax. Great breakfast to start your day and amazing helpful staff. Great location, very walkable and quiet at night! Here's the view from room #9!
