Dear Lisbon Bordalo House features tastefully decorated rooms and suites set in Lisbon's historic downtown area, a short walk from Chiado and the Carmo Church. My stay at Dear Lisbon - Bordalo Palace Chiado was a perfect blend of relaxation and luxury. The stunning location, beautiful rooms, exceptional service, and top-notch amenities made it an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a tranquil and luxurious getaway. I will certainly be returning for another stay in the future.

Catarina greeted us in Reception - she was wonderful - very friendly and helpful. Room and bath was very large and nicely appointed. Balcony had a nice view. Breakfast was outstanding - wonderful food choices and pretty surroundings - very nice staff members. Great location from which to explore Lisbon.

Lovely grand hotel in the heart of Lisboa. Our Room 2 had two giant windows overlooking the bustling Largo Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro (square), but totally soundproof and dark at night with shutters closed. This square is much quieter than the adjacent Largo do Carmo square that was heaving with the Carnation Revolution celebrations (go every year around 25 April). Super comfy bed and pillows. Room with mini bar. Good freshly-made breakfasts with coffees made to order were just what we needed after late nights in the Bairro Alto which is only stumbling distance away. Most of all, it was a great pleasure to meet Catarina and Daniel who indulged me in my "special request" and clunky efforts to learn Portuguese. Thank you for such a fun and fabulous visit. You certainly do convey a unique welcoming hospitality and we hope to see you again soon!

The room was really huge and nice. The hotel is in an old, very well kept building, and I enjoyed their breakfast every morning. It was not a big breakfast but good quality, and I liked staying in the hotel as the staff were very nice and the hotel in a superb location.

Fabulous hotel. Wonderful friendly staff. Great area. Excellent breakfast.
Two negatives - was the noisy plumbing and the automatic light in the hall of room 1 so when you use the bathroom in the night a very very bright light comes on!

Very stylish place. Comfortable first floor room with a small balcony. There's no lift but the staff are very friendly and will carry your bags if needed. Good location. Close to Metro and tram lines. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
The only minor things were that the plumbing in our bathroom was a little noisy and the breakfast room felt a little cramped. Neither issue would stop us returning.
