The hotel was really stylish yet relaxed and friendly. A lovely combination that made up feel very welcome....even after a long day of sightseeing in the sun.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. It was really clean and the staff were excellent. There were complimentary drinks and snacks readily available. It was very good value for money too.
Although there was a wide choice for breakfast, the service was at the table. There were occasions when people who came in after us had been served, and left, before we had our breakfast. One morning, one of our breakfast’s didn’t arrive at all.

What a fabulous hotel. Unassuming on the outside but the most welcoming and thoughtful hotel on the inside.
In a quiet location but a couple of minutes walk to many highlights, lots of restaurants and tram stops.
Have never been to a hotel that has so many extra touches, outdoing bigger chain hotels in every way. From the friendly welcome with a drink and snack bar in reception. The daily free walking tours. Happy hour and midnight snacks in lobby!
The rooms are lovely with super comfy beds, free mini bar and the most amazing showers.
Free Turkish spa and even archeological exhibits in basement.
The breakfast was superb too.

It was so nice that they had some food waiting for us after our long flight! They upgraded us to a family suite and it was amazing. The location was perfect. Close to Alfama and Chiado. The woman who served us breakfast was so nice and on our son's birthday she surprised us with cake and champagne. I would definitely stay again.

Everything was wonderful - a central location, the warm welcome and courteous service, the delicious breakfast, snacks, beverages, and evening tastings, comfortable bed, and spa bathroom. We took one of the complimentary morning walking tours led by a terrific guide whose enthusiasm for the history of Lisbon shone through. My favorite parts of the hotel were the lower level lounge/reading room where a section of an ancient wall is preserved and where I spent time reading and relaxing, and the spa which has a small jacuzzi, sauna, steam, and halotherapy rooms.

This was a perfect hotel for my husband and me. Superb location, superb service, large room, delicious breakfast, evening complimentary drink, constant supply of free delicious Portuguese treats, evening bed turndown, just high class all around. The Roman ruins under the first floor are phenomenal.
