The cleanliness of City Lofts was incredible! Shared bathrooms were always clean. Shared social space stocked with drinks and snack and always clean. My room was tidied every day. Such a great value!
The staff were very friendly!
Location was perfect for walking to many attractions and popular spots of the city!
I returned for a second stay at the end of my trip before leaving Portugal!
Wasn’t super clear on entry to building on arrival, not clearly marked of where the Loft location is,as the building is shared with other businesses. It is an older building, so walls are thin and not very noise proof, that may be troublesome for some people.

I travel ingle and look to hostles to meet people, usually over breakfast, and I found no such "community" sharing, though the breakfast area was nice. I like to stay in places with more sicial activity. It was very quiet.

Comfortable, clean, and well managed. Lots of restaurants and cafés nearby, so was a good starting off point. Bathrooms were clean and I never had to wait. Room stayed pretty cool even through the heatwave. Perfect for a couple days stay.
The walls are thin and the floors very squeaky, so you can hear everything as people walk down the hall etc. Also, the check-in instructions could have been a bit more descriptive for how to get to the front desk.

Although it wasn’t right in the city center, the location was conveniently close and very well connected by public transport, with metro, bus, and train stations within walking distance; the apartment was comfortable, bed sheets were changed daily, we enjoyed a great view and a small balcony on the top floor, it was well equipped, complimentary cookies, coffee, and tea were always available, shops were nearby, and overall it was a great stay.
There were really no major downsides, as everything was clearly described and met our expectations before booking; the only minor issue was an occasional sewage smell, which we noticed not only at the property but also in other areas of Lisbon and even Porto, so it may be a general issue.

Check-in was quick and easy and the staff were lovely to deal with - very friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic being very close to the waterfront, Green Street, Pink Street and many other local attractions. The lift in the building was handy for getting luggage to the upper floors. My bed was very comfortable and the layout of the room was perfect for a one-night stay.

Unfortunately the hotel is located right near a huge construction of underground and they worked until 11pm and started again at 7:30am. Impossible to sleep because of the noise.

We loved the location into Lisbon (easily walkable to other parts). We enjoyed how clean the facilities were and how kind the staff was. Especially nice to leave your bags in storage before/ after arrival.

Disappointing
Staff held our luggage after checkout so we could continue to explore before our train left.
Starting off, I couldn’t get into the building as the city lofts shares a building with another company and the front door is locked so I had to wait until someone left the building before entering.
next I did not know which floor the lofts were on so I decided to walk up the stairs Turns out the city lofts are on the fourth floor. I ended up walking four flights of stairs.
There’s no signs or any way to know what floor the city lofts are on next I enter immediately. It smells like poop. It was very disappointing and very gross. The stay was fine. The staff was friendly however there is a very strong odor of poop in the shared bathrooms, even walking in the hallways you smell it And it does not go away. If you choose to book here, I would keep in mind that the pipes are old and I guess people throw their toilet tissue in the trashcan, which makes the entire floor smell like their poop.
When you open the window in the bedroom, you couldn’t smell any of the poop. But when I took a shower, I had to hold my nose and brush my teeth was unpleasant smelling poop.
I am not sure why none of the windows were open the building definitely it was warm and smelled like poop.

The rooms are hot and stuffy. There’s a lingering moldy sweaty smell everywhere. The lockers malfunction and the app doesn’t always work.

Very Good
Nice and clean rooms, location, breakfast, friendly and informative staff. The reception is open for a very long time during the day. Also the guesthouse feels very like "at home" with friendly atmosphere, it's not this massive place with hundreds of people crammed in small rooms.
