Wonderful
Excellent location in Baixa, close to Alfama neighborhood. During the check-in, the person explained about the various neighborhoods, places to see and some tips about the elevators nearby that can save you from having to walk up the steep hills. The room was comfortable with an excellent shower. We did not opt for the breakfast option since there were numerous cafes within walking distance. Also, there is a big supermarket nearby where you can get coffee, pastries etc.
The shower area has a fixed glass door that only covers half the opening. Although an additional shower curtain is available, water still splashes on the floor outside the shower.

The best feature of this hotel is its exceptional staff, who went out of their way to assist and made my stay truly comfortable. I am particularly grateful to Tanya, Facundo, and the gentleman of Argentinian origin with gray hair who worked the night shifts from the 18th to the 21st—my apologies for forgetting your name.
The lady who managed the breakfast service was equally outstanding. I noticed she had marked me as a vegetarian on her list, and indeed I was offered several thoughtful options to choose from. This level of attention to detail and genuine care did not go unnoticed.
The big painting in my tiny room.

Very good location, in walking distance to key spot , shopping and dining areas. They also offer us a free drink per person during our stay. And gave us n upgrade room so we can be in the same floor with the other couple we were traveling, that was great!.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Casual Belle Epoque. Carlos & Cyril were awesome- always taking care of our needs. The staff was also friendly and courteous- they attended to our room whenever needed. And the breakfast was amazing- so much to choose from Thank you everyone! What a wonderful place to stay and a great location- near cafe’s, restaurants, museums, Pardo de Comercio, Rossio Square, stores etc

Breakfast was amazing! The variety and quality of selections were delicious. The bed was firm and comfortable, which we appreciated after walking 5-8 miles a day around Lisbon. The location was perfect for us - we could access everything we wanted to see! The hotel staff - on every shift - were warm, welcoming and knowledgeable.
The hotel is on a very trafficked, cobbled street, and there was a large construction project directly across from our room during our stay. The resultant noise was the only negative about our time at Casual Belle Epoque Lisbon. Fortunately, we could limit the noise by closing the doors to the balconies in the bathroom and bedroom.

Very Good
Location was perfect for where we wanted to stay. Our room was a welcomed upgrade and really beautiful. Carlos at reception was very engaging and informative. For the price this was a perfect choice for our one-night stay.
The lobby and lounge area seemed to be a little tired but not a deal breaker considering the age of the building/area. We had to wait outside upon our arrival from dinner to gain access to the hotel since the doors were locked. Understandably for safety but, nonetheless.

Casual Belle Époque Lisboa was a wonderful place to stay in Lisbon. The location was excellent — very walkable to so many attractions, restaurants, cafés, and even São Jorge Castle, making it easy to explore the city on foot.
The staff were incredibly friendly, very welcoming, and always helpful with recommendations and questions throughout the stay, especially Facundo. The rooms were comfortable and provided a great place to relax after long days of sightseeing. It was also great to always have reliable hot water after a full day out in the city.
An added bonus was that reasonably priced parking could be arranged through the hotel, which made traveling by car much less stressful in the city center.
Overall, this hotel offered a great combination of comfort, location, convenience, and hospitality, and I would happily stay here again.

The location of this hotel was incredibly convenient, and the staff were absolutely wonderful. They went out of their way to help with any issue. One particularly touching example: when my travel companion left a hat at the hotel, and we had already boarded a cruise, the staff arranged an Uber to deliver it to the ship. Such kindness and thoughtfulness made our stay truly special!

Good
It’s equidistant to key attractions.
Had an issue with the shower & the bathroom smelling like sewer! Their bathroom could use a vent so the moisture doesn’t stay in the BR. AC needs to be cooler.
