Good
The principal attraction or asset is the location, within the walls of the Castle Sao Jorge. The apartment itself was a good size for two people and conveniently located near restaurants, bars and cafes, a grocery store and the castle itself. There was a small bar fridge and several appliances which could be used for basic self-catering. Overall the apartment was light and airy. It was a pleasant place from which to base oneself for exploring the Castle and, of course, the city and environs of Lisbon itself. The communication with management was excellent and they even arranged for a taxi from our door at the end of our stay, saving us from having to manage our luggage over the heavily cobbled streets to the main transport area just outside the castle walls.
The floor was dirty and should have been vacuumed or swept before our arrival. Our bare feet were literally blackened after a short time walking around and thereafter we always wore socks or shoes/sandals. Inside the apartment main living space there was an angled structure (like the coverings around a flight of stairs) from the middle of the ceiling to one of the walls/window which meant I was forever mindful of not bumping my head when moving around. Although there were the usual kitchen appliances in the food prep area, there were two (?) power points and these were awkwardly placed and tested the limits of some power cord lengths. A lot of the small bench space was taken up by a microwave oven and various promotional items which you could buy. Similarly, the small bar fridge also lost space to yet more promotional food and drink products for sale which were of no interest to us. As with every place we stayed in during our trip, the pillows were too soft - but this is an admittedly personal preference.

Location, if you like being near the castle and climbing hills. The view into the little street was quaint. You felt you were in Lisbon.
It was perfect for our group.Would certainly recommend the Inn.

Location. Decor. Perfect for two people
Coffee maker was not working very well and there was no safe space to use the hot plate on.

The location was excellent, in a beautiful area near the castle, and a lovely view point high up in the city. The room had good temperature control, wasn't too loud for where it was located, and was very clean. Comfy bed, good size room, and the owners were very helpful & accommodated us leaving our bags in the room after we checked out for a few hours.
Unless we missed it, there didn't seem to be a safe anywhere.

The property itself was fine. Good stay.
The outside building door did not lock. We never felt unsafe but with bag storage being right by the door I wouldve hoped it was locked.
The only thing i would recommend against this property is the location. The castle is at the highest point in the city and Ubers/bolt cannot drop right at the door. You will have to rely on taxi or do a small hike to get to your room every night.

Good
It was clean and comfortable and perfectly positioned for the castle
Its not the best equipped kitchen, if you are planning on cooking your own food. I assume most people would eat out and therefore the kitchen would be adequate for their needs.

Very central location and the apartment was spotless .Communication with the castle inn team was very responsive and helpful even arranging transfers from the airport .
You could hear other residents in the building very clearly .Especially walking up the slightly creaky stairs .This was not a big problem just the only negative thing we could find

The location was perfect to be in the Castelo area and easy to walk down to the main square in LIsbon. Good places to eat in the vicinity and a Pingo Doce nearby where we could buy food for breakfast. Sara who was on site was always helpful and friendly.
We did not like that the front door did not lock because we did not like the idea of leaving our luggage under the stairs when we checked out and anyone could come in without a door code. Luckily the woman who was doing the cleaning let us leave our bags in the apartment until our transfer came to pick us up. Very kind.

The apartment was clean, modern and well equipped for two people. Located close to Castle St Gorge, on a quaint narrow street. With restaurants and gift shops right near by. The neighbourhood is busy during the day due to the attraction of the beautiful castle grounds but very quiet at night. Modern windows and air conditioning kept out any street noise.
2nd floor ( 3rd in the American way of counting) was a bit of a challenge but not really a problem even for these older folks. The view from the bedroom was worth it!
