location even though its on a hill, it was worth it! the breakfast was 10/10 really clean beautiful rooms excellent staff

Casa do Patio was a cute very homely place with very friendly staff. It was the real Portuguese culture. We loved it. The patio area was lovely to sit out. The location was close to most historic places by foot. Rossio, Baixa Chiado . It was close to a tram line. That was delightful. The staff always was helpful to give us the best information on restaurants , places visit. Rooms were comfortable opening to the Patio most of them.
The only thing we found difficult was the, up hill and downhill walk to the location . However we turned that in to part of experiencing Lisbon which is built on seven hill we were told.

Accommodations were first class. The patio area was especially nice. Breakfast was exceptional. The big plus was staff. All very welcoming particularly Samuel and Roderigo who were very helpful with plans for our multi day stay.
Location should be considered.

Casa do Patio was located in a convenient neighborhood and it was easy to walk to many attractions and restaurants. The staff welcomed us and were very attentive to all of our needs and helped us with our luggage. Breakfast was delicious and we loved sitting in the peaceful courtyard to eat in the mornings. We stayed here both at the beginning and end of our trip and enjoyed the space and the individual details of both rooms.

Cute and quite, the breakfast is excellent. I normally dont eat sweet during breakfast, but everything was so good and delicious I cannot resist. They also serve fresh orange juice which is a bonus
It was unfortunate the coffee machine was out of order, otherwise everything is perfect

Lisbon is a large, active, and bustling city which is very fun to explore and enjoy, but this hotel was like an oasis of peace and beauty in the middle of all that action. It was so amazingly well appointed, gorgeous, and quiet in Casa do Patio. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely choose this exact hotel again for our next stay. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! We couldn't help but take pictures of the spreads because there were so many fresh choices each day, including eggs cooked to order! The staff were absolutely wonderful and very helpful. The courtyard area was so peaceful and a wonderful place to hang out with a glass of wine after a long day of walking the steep inclines of the city. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

The staff were MOST helpful, pleasant, professional and happy.
The distance from parking facility and the difficulty in finding the property. One should not have to have a GPS to get to the place where the room is booked, but in this case, without one and without the ability to speak/fully understand Portuguese, it would have been a nightmare. We should have been forewarned that, due to the distance between where we are forced to get out luggage from the car and the property, we should travel light.

It was really centrally located in the heart of town. The staff were amazing. I loved the homely feel and especially the Portuguese homely feel. It felt like I experienced how living like a local felt, albeit comfortably. Some guy from Brazil, forgotten his name now really helped with my breakfast box since I was getting out of the property super early in the mornings.
They say its a 5mins walk from the Uber stop but it isnt. I mean you are informed which is great but you really cannot understand this especially if you e luggage to drag along while climbing the steep slope are to find it. However I came prepared so it was okay ish.

Location + kindness of staff + particular charm of the property ( garden, furniture) + variety and richness of breakfast.
Sound- proof is bad and one can hear all in the room noises which is quite disturbing.

The patio is amazing! Fabulous breakfast and very nice, helpful staff. Would definitely stay here if traveling back to Lisbon!
Access to hotel can be difficult if carrying bags. Drivers cannot reach the street.
