Outstanding staff - they really took the time and care to make our stay special. Great breakfast, perfect location, and they made a wonderful list of tips/recommendations. It's a small, family-owned business, and the care they put in really comes through. I couldn't recommend it more.

Great location, fantastic breakfast (and cakes!), and super helpful staff. We arrived early to drop our bags at the hotel and they were able to let us check in a couple of hours early! They also have great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. The complimentary cakes and port were the cherry on top

Amazing breakfasts and a selection of cakes and teas/coffee available all day. Great central location. Fabulous hosts - very helpful and welcoming. The whole place was very clean. Loved the eclectic decor - all very tasteful. Met lots of lovely guests there too.

This was a fantastic place to stay in a great location. We could walk everywhere or take a tram. The rooms were comfortable. The property is beautiful. The amenities were lovely (breakfast, coffee, free port in the afternoons!). But by far the best part was the service. All of the folks running the desk were incredibly helpful, and their restaurant recommendations were top notch. They were exceptionally accommodating to various requests. Even housekeeping was exceptionally good at cleaning a room -- truly. We were there in the winter, so the low season. I can certainly imagine that it would be harder to be SO accommodating in a busier time, but we loved everything about our stay there.
If I have to come up with a complaint, and this isn't something that is the fault of the property, it's that our window overlooked the street, and there was some street noise at night from drunk partiers. Again, not the fault of the property. But if you're a light sleeper (or jetlagged!) it might be reasonable to bring earplugs until you figure out whether you can sleep.
