Staff extremely friendly and helpful with exploring the city for newbies. Room was delightful light and bright. Loved the shared kitchen.
I would have liked to see shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Otherwise cannot fault it.

Good communication, location easy to get to and from by metro, great restaurants in area. Park nearby.
My room was moldy. Clean, nicely decorated but seriously moldy smell.

The location of the guesthouse is really good, very close to metro and Praça Marquês de Pombal with restaurants.
The room was really clean, with coffee and tea set and a nice view.
Kind, helpful and friendly staff.
Beautiful and cozy fully equipped kitchen.
The roof view is amazing.
Warm water pressure was low and not enough warm!
It would be better to have tissue in the rooms.
The stairs are narrow, and it is better to have a caution sign for children!

The staff is very friendly and kind. The rooms are spacious, clean, great communal kitchen, good views, quiet and centrally located, next to nice restaurants, a bakery and two grocery stores.
The elevator is old and slow but that’s not a big deal.

Clean, central, safe - glad there are staff to check you in. Great deck upstairs for sunrise and sunset - a couple of lounger chairs up there would be great!

Everything was great! They accommodated us early and left our luggages while we explored the city. The rooms were pretty.
Nothing really. If I had to say something its the soap in the bathrooms.. There is no label if its hand/body soap or shampoo. But we also have our own so no worries.

Casa Belmonte is a wonderful antidote to the impersonal chain hotel. David and John are so welcoming and ready to make your stay as pleasant as can be. As for particulars: the bed was very comfortable, the shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water, the small refrigerator was great for keeping snacks, and the hot water kettle was appreciated. The location is a bit out of the historic center, but that’s easily accessible by subway or a pleasant walk down the main boulevard. And personally, I liked getting out of the tourist crowd at the end of the day. There’s a nice corner pastry shop for morning coffee and a treat, a grocery store just up the block, a laundromat about a 5-minute walk away, and an excellent restaurant right across the street. I highly recommend Casa Belmonte!
The rooftop terrace has a great view, but no seating, which somewhat reduces its usefulness/appeal as a place to hang out. Also, please consider providing shampoo in the shower, as most hotels do nowadays.
