Wonderful location. Staff were excellent. The rooms are small but beautifully appointed and sparkling clean - with quality linen, a bath robe & other thoughtful touches. Generous breakfast, and the ability to have a complimentary tea or coffee (or a drink) at reception.

Location, the rooms were very clean & quiet. The staff were amazing, helpful & friendly. Having free water and cool drinks at the reception was fabulous.
The breakfast room was very cute and a great way to start the day.

Location, friendly staff, clean, comfy bed, good breakfast. The free walking tour with hotel staff was super. Snacks nice in lobby.
The only thing I really didn’t like was no coffee or tea in rooms, only in paper cups in lobby. You couldn’t even make one in lobby and take it up to your room (the reason given was to prevent spills). I think that if you have cola and juice drinks in the free minibar you can have coffee/tea in room. I like to be able to enjoy a cup in my room after a day exploring and/or first thing before breakfast so this was an annoying thing for me.

The hotel is extremely convenient for exploring the city. Our family room had an unobstructed view of Praça dos Restauradores. Whilst the building itself is a historical building, the interiors are modern, stylish and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and efficient. We loved the room’s traditional balcony, mod cons, refreshments in the lobby (including coffee, mini pastel de nata and wine) and in particular, the free walking tour led by Pedro Falcao, Guest Service Manager, which took us to some hidden gems.
