The hotel was centrally located close to restaurants, subways and shops. The rooms (2) were decently sized (one larger than the other (twin bed room larger with 2 balconies but smaller closet while other room had a king sized bed) and were adjoining, but also had separate key cards and access to the hallway. Families with smaller children may think twice about these features. The mini refrigerator was stocked with items for sale but was totally emptied out by staff so we could fully utilize it. Daily housekeeping was a plus as well as bathrobes and slippers.
The main complaint is that we had three nights without air conditioning despite complaining to the staff on our first day there. I was rudely told by the man who came to the room that the thermostat was set at its lowest temperature and could not go any lower. The thermostat did not show an nterior temp, only actual settings of 33c as the highest and 16c as the lowest temp. (No one ever checked back with us to see if the problem was corrected after that first complaint.) Despite the 12-14 foot ceilings, the room was stuffy and had no circulation, especially in the middle of the night. I had to open the balcony door at 3AM to get some cool air into the room. I again mentioned the lack of A/C to the front desk female rep when we met in the elevator. That night the system miraculously was working, which leads me to believe the air conditioning was not turned on OR the thermostat in our rooms were not functioning. Either way, we had 3 nights of little or no sleep due to the room temperature. In addition, there was a sewer or urine stench in the bathroom for 2-3 days, but to be fair, I also noted the same smell while walking in the city close to the hotel also. However, this issue was also noted in a youtube video by another guest. Housekeeping did not replace lotion, left an almost empty box of tissues and personally, I still use soap in the shower, so I had to ask for another bar of soap. Shampoo/body wash dispensers were also problematic as they dispensed little or no product with each pump. Lastly, I found the bed to be comfortable but the remainder of the family thought they were too hard.

Excellent location. Rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean. Breakfast was rich but over priced, so we had it for one day only.

Price of breakfast is ludicrous. Should not be charged for still water when dining in your restaurant, especially when staying in-house. Rooms are very, very dark - no ceiling lights at all.

The breakfast buffet was positive. When I became sick staff handled this with grace. Thank you! When I need help shipping a suitcase staff helped me side by side! My hotel room with French balcony was positive. Watched the busy street parades. I want to come back!
The evening chef was horrible. I would have purchased ever meal through kitchen. However the Cesar Salads and lasagna were horrible! The last night I ordered grilled cheese and ham best I have had world wide.

The way Booking.com or the hotel staff and management dealt with the accident - A glass door of the toilet smashed with no reason on us. glasses shattered everywhere and hurt us, emotionally and physically. beside of offering breakfast - which we declined, no compensation was made.

The hotel was in a great location, close to great shops and places to eat.
One of the beds had weird blood stains on them. We also came back one night and our door was completely open, not sure if this was a human error or a lock error but it was the only time it happened (nothing was taken).
