The staff was amazing from the time we got there to the time we checked out. The location is amazing and if you get a room with the balcony you'll have an amazing view!
It can be a bit loud if you go to sleep early...

Location is the best! Staff were wonderful and were happy to give us suggestions on restaurants in the area. Rooms were quite large compared to what we were expecting and the beds were super comfortable.

Location is in the center of it all! The staff was wonderful. Breakfast was great. Offering glass of port or pastille at check in was a bonus!

I had the best experience at the hotel from the second we entered to when we left. The staff was so so nice and helpful. We got a glass of Porto and a Pastel de Nata. We got an early check in and our room was perfect, the balcony view wasn’t the best but the room was spacious and clean.

As it was our first time in Portugal, being in this central location made it easy to catch transportation
The only thing I didn’t like was the cat like smell in the bathroom. BUT the shower was magnificent !

You can't beat this location, at walking distance of everything and near public transport. The hotel is super cute, with decoration inspired by Portuguese poets. The staff were extremely helpful and patient (Elisete, Rui, Tomas, Barbara, and others - you rock and have great recommendations of places to eat!). Breakfast was simple but good. We would easily stay at this hotel again, what a gem!

The location was fabulous in the middle of downtown, you can't get a better location than this. The staff were super nice and helpful whenever needed. I enjoyed my stay to the max.

Hotel was in an excellent location, close to all amenities, staff very friendly, breakfast was basic, rooms clean, stayed in room at back of hotel and was very quiet

Very clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and good dinner options in the restaurant. Staff were very courteous and helpful.
Pillows were a little soft/thin, but not terrible.
