Wonderful old Portuguese guest house staffed by the kindest people in a lively location.
Lisbon Heat wave made air conditioning a necessity. We were moved to a new room when our unit started leaking.

The place is adorable, location is perfect, and most important the staff was nice and friendly. I needed an early check-in, and they were able to do it. If I ever go back to Lisbon, I will definitely stay at Anjo Azul again.

24 hr staff and perfect location! Everyone at the desk went above and beyond to help us. The rooms were more spacious than expected, had excellent AC, and well kept. I hope I can stay here again next time I visit.
I wish I'd know more clearly that they were staffed 24/7 and that check in was available late.

A nice hotel with wonderful staff in a charming old neighborhood. There are plenty of lovely cafés and small restaurants close by. We also went to an unforgettable fado concert just up the street, held in the ancient Patriarcal Reservoir. The cistern is hidden beneath the Jardim do Príncipe Real, directly under the garden’s pond.
The internet could be slightly better.

We had a fabulous stay at Anjo Azul! The room was lovely, spotless, compact and extremely well organized. The location was excellent for visiting the city. Most importantly, Elena and Miguel and other employees at the hotel are so kind, knowledgeable and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. We got great advice and referrals. As they said, they are there 25 hours a day for their guests! Highly recommended!
