Very Poor
Ok location. Usable kitchen.
BED BUGS. DO NOT STAY HERE. Our room was infested with bed bugs. I was bitten over night and on the second morning I saw a number of bed bugs on the walls and skirting boards of the room (see photo). The owner refunded our stay while explaining that this was a favour (not legally required) and that bed bugs are common in hotels. Firstly, it doesn't feel like much of a favour. We spent the following days trying to clean all our belongings and have had to throw out our backpacks and a couple of jumpers and other items which could not withstand being washed at sufficiently high temperatures. This equates to hundreds of pounds that we've lost, not to mention our time. Secondly, I've travelled for 20 years across Europe, Latin America and Asia and have stayed in all types of accommodation. I have never encountered bed bugs before. This hostel just isn't prepared to take the necessary measures to deal with the problem and are happy for their guests to risk taking an infestation home with them. If you look on google reviews and other websites you will find plenty of reviews that show this is a long term problem.

Close to metro
Room was in the main Aile from the whole house.we heard everyone who was walking around the door. So noisy! (Obviously in this big hostel there are a lot of people going in and out all night so we heard all the doors banging )

On third night of our stay, I was bothered by bedbugs. When I presented the evidence of blood stains on the bed sheet in the morning, the person on duty had offered to disinfect the room along with our clothes and issue a money credit for that night. The room and clothes were disinfected, credit, however, hadn't been issued up to this day!

Our room no. 11 was lovely and the female receptionist was very helpful.
Bed Bugs - although we didn't have any on our bed (kept checking!!!). Another guest we met in the kitchen had bed bugs and checked-out. After looking at reviews on other websites it seems this is a big issue. For this reason I wouldn't stay here again.

Feels more like a cosy guesthouse than a hostel. Very chill vibes. Staff were super friendly and always helpful. Kitchen facilities were good for making breakfast and light meals and free coffee offered. Bathrooms were generally quite clean.
It got super hot at night - opening the window meant hearing loud street noise and the fan just circulated hot air around the room. Pillows could have been better

The hostel itself is great and quite comfy, but with bed bugs, so I cannot recommend it
bed bugs! We've been there for 2 nights in 2 different rooms and both were full of bed bugs :/
As per our own experience and other reviews it seems that this bed bugs problem is ongoing, thus I don't recommend staying in this hostel :c

Super friendly staff, they were really nice about us arriving early and leaving after the checkout. We got a room that on a quiet side of the building, so we could hear the subway a bit, but it was totally fine.

Very charming little hostel set in an old house with lots of character. Great amenities.
The balcony was absolutely tiny, it would be great if it was pictured accordingly in the photos as it can be quite misleading.
