Great staff who were quite helpful. All very friendly and spoke English. Allowed to check in early. The included breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a wide variety of foods. Pasties de nata were made fresh every day!
A dresser and/or armoire in the room would have been nice.

Wonderful
Welcoming staff, team at 550, help with transportation, walking distance to a few great places eg Amorales Mall also information and help from reception staff.
The roads, or rather the routes, were a bit confusing.

I booked this stay for my mother-in-law, and unfortunately her experience was extremely disappointing.
She requested a double bed but was given two single beds instead. When she arrived, she had to wait a long time to check in, not because of a queue, but because the front desk was unattended. Only one elevator was working, so it stopped on every floor, making getting to the room very slow.
As a senior citizen, she asked for assistance with her luggage but was told the hotel did not have staff available to help. The room was also unbearably hot. During the July heat in Lisbon, the air conditioning did not appear to be working, and there were no controls in the room to adjust it. She was unable to sleep because of the heat.
Breakfast was equally disappointing. The eggs and pastries were overcooked or burnt, and there was no service for drinks or freshly prepared eggs, only the limited buffet items that had been left out.
I had paid for four nights, but after just one night she checked out because the experience was so poor. I genuinely don't understand how this level of service justifies the price charged.

The staff carlos and gabriel were reallyyyy helpful with not just this stay at holiday inn, but also sorting out my issues with the previous property. Also, they helped me with restuarant options and uber challenges as well. Highly recommend just for them. The bed is also very comfortable on your neck.
Not much to not like about. Highly recommend.

We went up a flight of stairs with bags because the lift only goes as far as the floor below our room

The hotel was far enough away to be quiet at night but close enough to still be able to walk to the city center.
Air conditioning is controlled by the property. You can adjust it as long as you do not try to go below their set level.

Breakfast was great and ran until 10:30am which came in handy on day two since I was exhausted from travel. Location was good, required taxis to get places in a timely fashion but reasonably priced.
I would have liked a room safe and a clock in the room but other than that I was very happy with my stay.
