Location can’t be beat! The check in process was wonderful. The person at the desk brought us to our room and explained everything about the room and hotel. The rooftop restaurant had amazing food and the views of Lisbon at night were spectacular. Our room had a balcony with a city view and was surprisingly quiet in the room once we closed the door. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful with so many choices. The staff was pleasant and happy to help with any questions we had. This was an overall excellent stay.
Parking is a little complicated but the valet option is great and makes it so easy

I especially like the central location of this hotel. The employees at the hotel were exceptional. Ines at the front desk was able to secure an early check-in for us and was happy to help with any dinner reservations. Marco, the doorman was also extremely helpful in giving us directions or recommendations in the area. The rooftop breakfast restaurant was lovely with fresh squeezed, orange juice, eggs made to order cappuccino and beautiful views of the city. The Rossio rooftop restaurant afforded nighttime views of the city with very good food and ambience.
The rooms could have been larger.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind. The rooftop restaurant and sun deck were amazing places to relax and enjoy dinner and drinks in the evenings. The location was perfect and they always had complimentary water, cookies, coffee and sparkling wine in the lounge- awesome!
Self serve ice would have been nice so we would. It have to bother the staff. Also a small space in the fridge to keep drinks cold.

Everything!! We tried quite a few different places in Lisbon, and Altis is now listed in our top 10 best hotels in the world. The team is extremely service minded, positive and welcoming. Altis Avenida Hotel Really very, very good - high quality quiet and rooms, with blackout electric blinds - lovely roof top bar, with terrific views, drinks, food and attentive staff - all the staff were delightful (Renato and Marco, the lobby keepers, Myrian, Claudia and Sofia, to name a few on reception - there were many others, but I don’t recall their names) - the staff were helpful, well informed and accurate with their advice - right beside the Baxia area and its numerous fine restaurants and shops - note it is steep hilly (very) and, whilst crampons aren’t required, good non-slip shoes would be invaluable in the wet on what would be very slippery shiny pavement cobbles Overall highly recommended
