The property had a beautiful charm to it and the building itself has a very interesting history. My room was lovely and you can see how they combined modern elements with the original framework of the building.
The staff was so wonderful and welcoming!!! They were eager to help create a wonderful stay for me.
CLAUDIA greeted me with the biggest smile after an arduous journey from the states. She took my hand and guided me up the marble stairs because of the wetness from the rain. She was so kind every time I saw her and she wanted to help me in anyway possible.
GIANCARLO: What can I say ? He was fun to talked too an excited to share everything about Lisbon. He has the best smile! Even though I had to leave early my last morning; he made sure I had coffee and even a to go breakfast I could enjoy in my room.
Please forgive me, I forgot the young lady’s name who is tall and has dark curly hair. She had a warm kind energy about her I truly enjoyed. She gave me a hug goodbye by that was so sweet.
PLEASE PLEASE put this in the review: IGOR TCHEMAGUIRE the massage therapist was simply amazing!!! Truly the best massage I’ve ever had !!
He used multiple techniques to relieve my pain and tightness in my right hip. He is very skillful and used kinetic energy, Myofascial techniques to create a wonderful experience. My only regret is scheduling a treatment my last day in Lisbon. I would ‘ve seen him everyday during my stay.
I want to say the kitchen staff were lovely and so sweet every morning during breakfast.
They made sure I had everything I needed to start the day.
I have no negative comments.

We are coming back.
The room would benefit with a mini fridge for client medication and beverages. This addition would be very helpful. Using the kitchen fridge does not work for the clients.

The location, the boutique feel, and the breakfast was nice. Sameer stayed and waited for us for our late check in ( 9:30PM) because our flight was delayed. He is an amazing polite, respectful young man. By far he was the reason our stay was enjoyable.
We got a deluxe suite, and there was no minibar, or chested drawers.The shower was licking as well.
Also my husband wanted to work on his laptop in the waiting hidden area of the lobby, and the cleaning lady, said he was not allowed to be there because she wanted to clean the carpets. When husband went to the front desk and ask the lady up front about the situation ( don’t know her name, but she had short curly hair), she didn’t seem of much of help.
She was not friendly at all. Seems like they rather clean the carpet, than let the guesses work in the laptop for 30 minutes while there were people resting in the suite.

This was our second time staying at Alecrim do Chiado, a little gem in the Chiado section of Lisbon. The staff are incredibly wonderful and responsive, the rooms beautiful and comfortable and the breakfast delicious. We'll keep returning for every visit to Lisbon!

This was a very big room for the area. Lots of hot water and luxurious towels Staff so friendly and helpful. Beautiful place. Delicious breakfasts.
The young people live In the area and tend to stay out late at night so they were a bit noisy
