Santa Catarina was a beautiful charming stay in Lisbon, everything was great from the apartments to the location. Ana at the reception made us feel at home during our five day stay. Highly recommend!

We showed up, buzzed the door and someone came to meet us, there is someone on site early to late. We met about 5 of the people who are on the staff and they were all very helpful. We needed a taxi to the airport and they arranged it. The room was large, it was air conditioned, had a nice fridge, and a cute little balcony. The couch was a little odd, but serviceable. It was a few blocks off the beaten path, but in a cute neighborhood and about a 15 minute walk from the main Lisbon squares. FYI, everything is uphill in Lisbon, everything!

Fantastic renovation of the historic building.

Perfect location in the old town on a quiet street. Easy walk to all the historic areas, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The apartment has been nicely redone — modern appliances mixed with cool original features. We really liked the exposed old walls worked into the design, it gave the place so much character.
The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bed was super comfortable. There’s also a cute terrace with a table and chairs overlooking a green courtyard full of bougainvilleas. The only thing we wished was that the apartment was one floor higher for a better view over the trees.
The reception staff were great — very friendly and helpful, gave us tons of tips on local spots and how to get around. Overall, a lovely stay and we’d definitely recommend it.

PH stairs are super steep, esp. at the end of a long day walking the many hills of Lisbon. Ah, but the view was divine

the most beautiful property possible. We stayed in 2 different apartments - both were extremely comfy, spacious, with a large sleeping room, a large living room, equipped with all the needed amenities, and so beautifully designed! As to the team, no words to describe how authentically charming, welcoming, professional, and friendly they are. When we asked if they had a laundry machine in the building, not only did they refer us to it, but they also took our laundry and did it for us. The neighborhood itself is packed with chic coffee shops, boutiques, and restaurants, and doesn't feel touristy. We can't wait to come back, and no words are enough to recommend it.
We liked everything here, but consider that this is an old renovated building, and does not have an elevator, so you need to carry your luggage to your room and climb stairs up and down (they can solve it for you with a beautiful ground floor apartment with a garden). No big issue (and they helped us with the bags), but required awareness. The internet speed in the room could be improved.

Great little boutique hotel in a neighborhood area with wonderful staff. Rooms are well-equipped, clean and comfortable. Easy access to everything and very friendly people abound. Lots of little restaurants and shops within walking distance.
The road to the hotel is closed, making it hard to get there. The roads leading to adjacent areas are small and mostly one-way, so it wasn't easy to get there.

The location is close to the sights yet far away enough to be in a peaceful neighborhood. It is also in walking distance to Cais do Sadre. There is a washer and dryer available. They will even do your laundry for you for no charge so you can enjoy your time sightseeing. Saria, the host, was very helpful pointing out the best places to go and giving restaurant recommendations.

from the outside this just looks "normal" but when you enter the apartment ; WOW - modern facilities - but with authentic flooring and walls and old fashioned furniture - ps WOW is GOOD.

Wi-fi was very bad, only worked seldomly in a very limited section of the apartment near the entrance. Also, floors are very creaky so expect noise.

Very happy with location! Extremely helpful staff; exceeded expectations. Sue even did our laundry! Sue was cheerful and very helpful with directions and restaurants. Good layout of the apartment, bright, roomy, well stocked. Very well organized.
Be prepared for steep stairs. Not a negative, but be aware.

We spent 2 nights here in June. The host Soraia was super friendly and made the check in/check out seamless. I love the car service to the airport. The apartment was very well-kept and clean, it felt like home (I was delighted to see a functional kitchen and decently sized fridge; the bathroom was gorgeous, as was the view from the balcony - Deluxe penthouse with terrace).

Our entire experience was perfect! Can’t recommend this hotel enough. The room was beautiful, the shower was amazing, and the coffee maker was great. The air conditioner was great too as it was hot when we were there. Best of all was the hostess who was so helpful and had great suggestions including things to do with kids. We only stayed a night but we wished we were there longer.
