Loved this place. Quiet street, but easy to walk around the corner to the parks, restaurants, etc. The beds were comfortable. The staff was so kind, very friendly. Breakfast was lovely, with gluten free bread even if you asked.

The location was perfect and close to many great cafés and restaurants. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast each morning was excellent. What really made our stay special was the staff. Everyone was friendly, warm and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay in Príncipe Real!
The only downside during our stay was that a family with young children was staying in the room next to us and they were really loud in the corridors/coming up and down the stairs (particularly in the mornings). Fortunately, they checked out after a couple of nights!

A charming hotel, located in a quiet street in Principe Real. Located over 3 floors, the stairs to our spacious room on the third floor were not a problem for us, as we love walking. Nearby local style restaraunts and tram #24 a 3 minute walk away gave easy access to everything. From the airport we took bus 722 to Avenida, then walked 13 mins steep uphill to Principe Real and our hotel. Breakfast was buffet style, along with 2 eggs cooked to your liking.

Hotel is ideally located and hospitality team is 100 out of 10. Always helpful and creating amazing atmosphere: you will definitely feel cared here. Also breakfast is perfect to start the day.
I’m not sure, if it’s only my room issue (the one with the bath), but soundproofing is zero - you’ll hear every step, open door, coffee machine in breakfast room and word said on reception. Also, despite looking good in general, plumbing and walls are definitely requiring update.
