The grounds were beautiful. The access to Fisherman’s Trail provided great walks and gorgeous views. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast was great and the bar was well stocked. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the beautiful pool outside our room.

pool areas should be able to accomodate more people (eg put more chairs there). should be monitored, people were leaving towels there and went absent for hours / never returned.

Impressive view at the back of the property. (ocean view) Unfortunately we cannot access the water because of the elevation.

Lovely hotel with the feel of a small village, made up of charming low-rise buildings. The breakfast was varied and delicious, with a beautiful sea view, and the staff were very friendly. The gardens are spacious and full of potential, though they could use a bit more maintenance. The rooms are a little dated, but that actually adds to the hotel’s unique charm.

We really enjoyed the quiet location and grounds around the resort. We took the hiking trail to Burgau and back (3km RT) and loved the view from the cliffs. The resort has 3 pools - we enjoyed the lower pool closet to the ocean. The room was nice and quaint. The kitchen was minimal but sufficient and we like the small patio in the back.
The WiFi, when we could connect, we ridiculously slow and unstable. We could only connect in the bedrooms. This might be related to just our room though. The ceilings in our unit (616) were tapered down to about 4 at the wall, which meant they were very low throughout much of the apartment and we frequently hit our heads. There wasn't really any furniture for the 4 of us to sit together in the living area (just 2 chairs).

The location was very nice. The gardens were beautiful, albeit a bit overgrown. Breakfast was good. Third room was good.
Our first room was a hard pass. As soon as I opened the door and saw the hideous tile, I said “nope, not sleeping in here!” The next room they gave us was very dated and smelled very bad. We stayed one night in that place, I could hardly sleep. Thankfully Tiego was working the reception the next morning and he moved us into a much nicer room (like what we’d expected from the photos). Hit and miss with reception staff. Had to ask for towels after 3 days.

Overgrown tropical garden with lots of frogs was fun. Breakfast was great! Staff were friendly.
Closest restaurant is 1km walk. Property is a bit worn.
