Beautiful property and pools Lobby and rooms are depressing I would not come back and don't recommend it The place would amazing if it was updated with a good designer but it's far from that now. The bathroom smelled like a sewer for a few hours and door key sticks

Property was very clean and relatively easy to find. Had a beautiful large room with a a great view overlooking the pool on the 1st floor. Comfortable accommodations and would stay here again
Check in was a bit unorganized. One host checking in about 8 guests and also manning the bar. He was professional, maintained his calmness and was polite. Many of the rooms were not ready yet at 3pm, hence I think that’s why he was juggling things….but did a good job,, but having help would have been good.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Nice hot showers. Firm bed. Easy walk to restaurants and beach. Wonderful hike up to the cliffs! Lots of trails.
Our air unit was not controllable. But the staff helped as best they could. Need more fresh fruit at breakfast.

The receptionist on my arrival was surly and refused to help me with my luggage to my room which was up steep, narrow stone steps. The safe in the room was broken, so I had to ask a friend who lives in the area to store my passport, house keys and other valuables. There were no tea-making facilities in the room. There was not even a waste-paper basket. It was pared to the minimum. I stayed for 11 nights during which they never changed the sheets!! This is rated as a 4 star hotel and that is unforgiveable. It clearly does not merit anything near 4 stars. The room was serviced in the late afternoon when one returned to one's room for a shower and wanted privacy - clearly they have insufficient staff to service the rooms, like other hotels, in the morning when guests are out. The chamber maid never "made" the bed, just pulled the covers up over a crumped bed! Breakfast had no fresh fruit salad or selection of fresh fruit. The cereal was cheap cornflakes, no muesli or healthy cereals. I ended up buying fresh fruit and taking it into breakfast. Breakfast only ran from 8.00 - 9.30. I've travelled the length and breadth of Portugal and never stayed in a hotel where the service was so poor.
