Exceptional
Comfortable quiet room near pool with outdoor table. A nice 35 minute stroll back to Marina for tour. Very walkable. Great mini grocery store on site. Very accomodating hosts as my train got in early. Very nice introduction to Algave area.

The property was beautiful and well kept. Gardens were nice with koi fish. The room was large with lots of storage.
The pillows were not comfortable at all. They must have been washed and were very thin and lumpy.

Good location near to the beach
You will struggle to find a nearby place for breakfast unless you are renting a car so you can head towards the city centre ( there is a rooftop restaurant in a hotel nearby , but they don’t serve breakfast for public customers, only for their guests, they accept public customers only for lunch or dinner )
Not a single facility near by ( pharmacy , coffee shop )
the smell of the room was horrible ( obviously its mold ) the wardrobe and table was very old and near to fall apart
Ants ? everywhere ( by day 2 we even found some of it inside our luggage )

Nice location, heated pool open until midnight
No shower gel/shampoo. Rooms very outdated, matresses not comfortable. Pool rules on booking and in the property tells opening hours but we had to contact staff to remove cover at 10:30 as it was still closed. When contacted the shop nearby staff was very rude saying and nearly arguing with me that there are no opening hours and they open it when they want. Payment cash only. Dont advise to cook in the apartment, all super old and cupboards smells mold. I booked 2 nights stay for my borthday and they did not care about it at all, no personal touch like a card or something.

- Small Room: The room is much smaller than it appears in the listing photos.
- Broken Door Lock: The door knob is broken and requires manual adjustments just to lock it properly.
- Privacy Concerns: The room connects directly to the staff room, which feels risky and unsafe even if the door goes unused.
- Poor Toiletries: Only two tiny, all-in-one soap bottles were provided for two people for a 4-night stay with no refills. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner.
THINGS TO NOTE:
Unannounced Cleaning: Staff entered to clean on two days when we were told they wouldn't. They cleaned the room nicely, but the lack of notice felt like a surprise invasion of privacy.

The facility is situated close to the beach, you can also walk to the historical part of the city. The apartment is large, with a fully equipped kitchen (everything but an oven). We also tried the heated swimming pool and the experience was great.
We had to pay cash (although this was indeed mentioned from the beginning of the reservation). The apartment could use some renovation, as the furniture seemed a bit old. Also, the bedroom had some stains on the window wall.

Outside the big noisy roads, inside the territory with some bushes and flowers- It worth its name. Very good location: not far from historical center, close to the walking trails near the shore (which are the must to see). Large private parking (but with a steepy entrance).

If you’re looking to stay close to the beach, and close to ponta da piedade, this is a great place to stay. Dona Ana beach is so close by, and the area is quiet and beautiful. The town itself is about a 20 minute walk from the house, so if you’re going a bit off season like we did, you have to walk a bit, but we didn’t mind this.
The apartment is wonderful. Has two balconies and a well equipped kitchen. It also has air conditioning which we loved. It has a lot of space for 2 people to stay in and there’s also a heated pool. Really lovely.
The only thing we didn’t like was that on our second day there, the bathroom started smelling like sewage waters. We weren’t sure where the smell came from, and we weren’t there in the room long enough to be super bothered by it but it was noticeable whenever we came back from being outdoors. Another thing that could be improved is that payment is on cash only once you arrive to the property, and Booking doesn’t do a good job of clarifying this when you make the reservation. They were lovely enough to point this out as well when we got in, so that’s nice of them and I can understand wanting to be paid in cash. It would just be more convenient if the payment could be done online like with other reservations.

The gardens looked amazing. It has a pool and hot tub but we didn’t get a chance to use them. The room was spacious with our own patio area. Check in was easy and they let us drop off our bags early.
We didn’t mind this but for others, especially if they have mobility issues, the location was out of the city center. A nice 15 minute walk downhill. Coming back obviously was all uphill. Very close to the beach and boardwalk though (that is a positive). The only thing that I would say would be a negative would be that the room looked dated, especially the curtains and comforter. The comforter was getting to be thread bare with rips in it.

The location is awesome, it’s really next to the beach. Another good point is that they are very nice with the dogs. Better experience ever for the pooches.
I spent 6 days and my room wasn’t cleaned in any day. Even when the dogs weren’t there.
