From almost getting hit in the head with door while on the toilet to water all over the floor around the tub. My wife and I both almost fell trying to exit the tub. Horrible and dangerous design that even the front desk acknowledged that other have complained about the same issue. Why it hasn’t been addressed in a question for Luciano Rosa (General Manager).

Wonderful
Excellent location to explore the Algarve. Delicious breakfast buffet with endless choices. Boardwalk along coast easily accessible. Property beautifully maintained.

The outdoor area was excellent, with beautiful pools and beautiful view. The The apartment was spacious, clean , and offered a wonderful outlook. The staff were always kind, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay.
we had booked breakfast, and on both days our reservation couldn’t be found. Instead of letting us in while checking their system, we had to wait about 10–15 minutes each time to sort it out. There seem to be some organizational issues that could be improved.

Location is great
Overall a nice place but old and need renovation. In general there is an entire area of the hotel that is just completely neglected, broken sidewalks, dead grass, In our room one shower was broken and it was almost impossible to use it. After 3 times I spoke to the reception someone came and turned it on but it was still very difficult to operate.

Location and spa facilities, outdoor nature walks along the coastline.
It needs to be renovated. The carpet is so dirty in the bedrooms with nasty stains. Senes a high end restaurant should not have old stained carpet leading to the room. The meal was very disappointing and service was slow. One person handling the room is nor acceptable. We had to wait for 45 minutes to get served in the pub which was a very negative experience. Beside these it was a good time.

Spacious room with comfortable bed. Great buffet breakfast. Dinner at Senses was delicious. Good location away from the busy town and a quick drive to town for tours.
Our room had a bit of a sewage smell at times. The only electrical outlet in the bathroom didn’t work, and there were no outlets near the bathroom doors that had mirrors.

The breakfast was acceptable.
I have a lot of issues with this hotel. From a room that smelled like sewage, to unfriendly staff (except the cleaning people), cold pool, non-functioning Jacuzzi, Poor treatment while trying to use their complementary drink coupon ( we were made to feel like beggars), and an overpriced shuttle option. This is not a 5-star hotel option.

Disappointing
I booked sea view room. However was given only pool view room(245). Sea was hardly visible from the balcony as lot of houses in between caused the obstruction. There were so many better seats view rooms were available. After speaking to receptionist this morning, gentleman was trying to convince me it was a sea view room. Nevertheless, it was disappointing stay.

Nice location beside cliffs. Service good. Lovely pool area.
Essentially went into lockdown when a famous team and footballer arrived. Noticeable change in orientation of staff and facilities.
Hotel grounds need a bit of work. Building work going on so parts are inaccessible or closed.
Some of the facilities are starting to show wear and tear. Could do with investment.

Absolutely beautiful property, on top of a cliff the views overlooking the water are unbelievable. Incredible walk to the lighthouse and cliff, great for sunset watching, morning strolls and pictures. The pool was refreshing and stunning, a perfect place to relax during the day. The food selection is great as well both in the restaurants, poolside and breakfast buffet. The staff is super friendly. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, beautiful balcony view.
The location is close enough you can call Bolt or Uber to take you into Old Town Lagos, but too far to walk. We were able to find rides very easily though. We did walk into town one night and it took about 30 minutes. Once you’re in the town center, you can walk to all the restaurants and beaches.
