The location of the property was great. Right next to the beach and only a quick Uber ride into town.
The air conditioning systems needed cleaned. Both of us got sick from being in the room and sleeping. And it had a weird smell to it.

Felt really cold the first night. Heat pump didnt switch on- turns out we had to switch the breaker- then all good!

Good location, staff and restaurant. Comfortable beds and double room, good shower.
We were out of water for a few hours one of the days. There is no room service. Parking depended on availability of public spaces (although we had no problem).

Location was great but I wouldnt stay here again. Rooftop pool & restaurant was the best part.
Service was subpar. I appreciate that we were allowed early check in but for the price we paid compared to other hotels in the area I would expect better service. For example, our bathroom sink didnt have soap we had to use the shower gel. Then when I showered I realized the water flooded the bathroom floor as the (I assume wet bathroom didnt drain properly). When I asked for more towels because the towel on the floor was sopping wet they refused. They said they will only give towels once a day. They asked what the problem was since I already showered. Well the other adult hadnt yet so the 2 of us had to use the one towel left. I asked what they wanted me to do about the floor and at least they brought a mop. There also werent towels at the pool so you have to use the chlorine towel for your shower too. Also, we were put in the basement and the wifi was extremely spotty in our room. As others have mentioned there is only a flimsy latch for the balcony so thats not the safest either. The safe box didnt work either.

Location was great. Close to beach and kayaks. Right by boardwalk to ponta da piedade. Beds comfortable. Staff very friendly. Included breakfast had many offerings and was delicious. Loved the rooftop bar/restaurant and pool. Walk to the center of town was 20ish minutes. It was also easy, close and cheap to get a Bolt/Uber or taxi.

The gym was a bit outdated but I guess you don't go to the gym when you go to a resort like this.

The included breakfast was convenient. In the afternoons and evenings, we had well-crafted drinks from the bar and an excellent dinner at the hotel restaurant. The hotel's location was perfect.
Room was very clean but simple, no amenities. Furniture very functional. I didn't think I'd booked a budget room, but that's what it felt like.

Great breakfast, views, and distance to beach/trails.
Next to a few questionable buildings. Very far out. Didn't feel comfortable walking to/from at night.

The Carvi Hotel is in a great location with incredible views of the cliffs, beaches and ocean. The roof top restaurant and bar is incredible, the food was phenomenal a 5 star experience.
You have to go to the front desk to get an iron, no room service. Food and drinks are not allowed on the pool deck. $20 Euro deposit for a beach towel. Locked business lounge restrooms. 5 star restaurant on top of a 2 star hotel.
