No breakfast provided, but location is superb right in the old town centre. Staff are friendly and helpful, room is clean and really a boutique hostel.

I recommend staying at Blue Moon Guesthouse and making it your home away from home while in Lagos. We received a warm welcome from Jos upon our arrival. Jos immediately checked us in despite our early arrival. Our room and ensuite bathroom were spacious, and, our room included a small fridge. Blue Moon also provides some additional amenities like a good sized patio for relaxing outdoors, a well equipped kitchen with a larger fridge for guests, and a sitting area with a tv, books, etc. The location cant be beaten because everything was within walking distance. Finally, we really appreciated Jos providing us with the names of 3 restaurants, which we tried and loved, as well as with a list of some things to see around Lagos. He also ensured he was there to give us a warm send off. Thank you for a great stay!

We arrived earlier than the standard check-in time, but Jose was able to accommodate the request. He met us at the door and promptly checked us in and personally showed us to our room and gave us a tour of all of the various accommodations that the property provided. We really enjoyed the patio area and the kitchen area! We like to walk and tour the area during the day. At night, we like to grab a bite to eat and relax on the patio with a bottle of wine. This property was perfect for us, and we really enjoyed our stay!
The beds were a little firm, that's our only issue. Everything else was awesome, and we would definitely recommend this property to anyone going to Lagos, Portugal!

The location is very good. It is clean and comfortable. The owner is very welcoming. There are a kitchen, living room and yard. It is a very nice place. Lagos best recommended.

The room was super clean and location was right in the city center. The host Jose was super friendly and helpful, and have super good recommendation on where to try out local Portuguese food! We enjoyed our stay very much!

The outdoor patio was wonderful. The shared kitchen and lounge area were also very nice.
It would be better to have a mat in the tub to prevent slipping.

This was a very special stay in a wonderful small guesthouse in a great central location. Jos and Angela went out of their way to make you feel at home and they were very hospitable and generous . The place was spotlessly clean with a lovely outdoor patio for relaxing and well set up kitchen.
I would happily recommend and stay here again. Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay at the guesthouse and highly recommend this accomodation. The location was perfect in the centre of the old town and the room was beautiful, spacious and impeccably clean. Jos and his family were exceptional hosts and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Best accomodation of our Europe trip so far, we would not hesitate to stay here again next time we are in Lagos.
