-My apartment 's location directly on the oceanfront. It was spectacular.
-Overall, a very lovely place: clean, well appointed, comfortable.
-Staff were thoughtful and brought me water (no power, see note below) and a loaf of bread the next morning.
It was hard to enjoy this special place for 2 reasons: 1) I happened to stay there the day power went out for all of Portugal and 2)I was exhausted when I arrived from walkung a long distance on the Rota Vicentina and xould not enjoy the comfort of a warm shower.

The view was incredible, very quiet and peaceful.
The apartment was in need of a major upgrade. Damp on the walls, patio door lock was broken, no kettle, 1 wine glass, tatty cushion covers, floor lamp with no shade. I was very disappointed in the accommodation!!
We had clean towels regularly and the bedding was clean overall it was of a very poor standard. It was very cheap so I guess you get what you pay for!!

Staff were wonderful and terrible. A sour reception put both parties in rooms less than we ordered and paid for. We could not find ours and went down a road to be trapped. We damaged our fender because a barrier was removed which would have kept us out. A wonderful woman collected me in a golf cart. But we still have to pay for a damaged car which could have gone straight down a steep cliff becauuse there was no barrier.
People need to know how dangerouus the roads are. The access varied greatly. In both our rooms we had to carry luggage a long distance. There is not enough parking and some rooms simply are not accessible except by the young and fit.
People with ANY disabiliity should not stay there. They make no compensation for access for people who cannot climb STEEP hills.
Our view was of the swimming pool even thouugh it said seaview. Our friends had an incredible view but they had a one bedroom when we ordered and paid for two bedroom. They walked a long distance on the flat to get to their room.

Nothing - not told on arrival about the condition of the villa (which had a For Sale sign on the front gate) We had to complain to the front desk before we were told the previous guests had caused all the damage. I asked to be moved but the resort manager said there was no other accommodation for my family (seven of us). I couldn't relax throughout the holiday with my two small grandchildren running around the patio with a cracked double glazing unit - the resort's solution was to stick some tape over it- the pool pictures show how filthy our private pool was and this was after their pool man tried to clean it. No doubt the resort will say they tried to resolve everything as soon as possible - the question is why didn't they fix it before we arrived if they knew it was so awful?
Filthy private pool, cracked double-glazed window, stained sofas, exposed electrical wiring, cracked render, paint peeling off, exposed electrical wiring, cracked tiles, broken patio furniture, broken outside lights. broken underwater light cowling, ripped patio lining, rubbish in the pool, rubbish on the sun terrace and so it goes on. I have complained for three months to the resort manager and the company's head office and they finally agreed to a partial refund but have not paid as promised. Now they don't reply to my emails or return my phone calls. Disgraceful

Water heating didn’t work properly, had to take cold shower :( pool working only 11-18 so means you have no chance to use it if you stay for one night only and even after 11 it was closed

The fantastic view from the terrace, the friendly staff, the pool area.
The WiFi didn’t work for the first two days but then it got fixed by the super friendly staff. The bed could be more comfortable.
