Close proximity to many beaches and to the marina, about 14 minutes walking distance. Pool was beautiful and very clean. Beautiful at a glance.
Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Hair on the sheets that were not from me. Breakfast options are very limited, mostly just bread and 2 types of eggs (scrambled, fried). Finding your room can be a bit confusing.

I had an issue with internet service first day and had to be in lobby. My husband have never had any issues. I was finally able to use my room to work, but everything was so slow.

The room was very big and clean. The pool seemed nice, but not heated and it was too cold to bathe.
It doesn’t look like a 4 stars hotel. In the room you have a kettle but you need to buy tea/instant coffee from the reception. Not even a water bottle in the room. No minibar.
If you searched on the tv for the hotel facilities you would see “2 heated indoor pools at health club” - there is no indoor pool.
The breakfast was good overall, there were enough options, but some ingredients were the cheapest.

Nice pool area.
Awful shower. Hand held sprayer with a wall bracket that would only direct the spray at the wall. Had to use the hand unit. Don't ask much but a decent shower is one requirement.

Clean apartment, serviced daily. Handy location for town and beaches.
Our studio had a kettle, coffee maker and mugs. We had to ask at reception for plates, glasses and cutlery. We feel that these are basic requirements for a week long stay and should be provided as a matter of course.

Plenty of sun loungers around the pool area.
Sun loungers and tables were very dirty, could do with a good clean every few days. Never enough towels available for sun loungers. Found hair in our breakfast on the first morning.

Very nice hotel in a perfect location close to the beach (Ponta da Piedade) and old town. It has its own pool and breakfast was good.
I would stay again and recommend to my friends.
I appreciate Porto wine available for its guests at the reception desk.

The hotel is big and has a huge potential. The breakfast was good as expected, the pool was big and deep enough. The stuff at the reception and restaurant were very nice and kind.
The hotel is not maintained, the paint on the walls in many places were falling off, at the pool in the water drain area the painting was also coming off, cleaning was done very poor and was even missing, around the pool and inner courtyard.
The fan in the bathroom was loud and even though they sent somebody to fix it, the handyman just cleaned the dust of it, but needed either to change the bearing of the fan or to replace it entirely. Therefore, it remained loud.
The handrail on the room's balcony was rusty and the paint was old and dirty on it.
The room was on the shadow side and had no sun at all. You might check before you reserve that they give you a room on the sunny side.

We loved the pool and the breakfast.
Staff at breakfast never greeted ys , never smiled, like they were never trained on how to do excellent customer service. They seemed tired and overworked or just bored.

The location was good, not in the center but close, and not on the beach but near.
The breakfast was awful, there were very few choices, and with so many people the buffet seemed vandalized.
Also the room was big but old and kind of neglected.
Our booking was for a double room with breakfast only and for something more than 250 euros per night we felt it wasn't worth the price.
Lastly the room we booked was a pool view, but we were on the first floor and in front of our balcony was a big tent or something so we could see the pool only from one side. I would call it a side pool view.
