The staff were great. The location was easy to walk to all the major sites. The food in the restaurant was delicious.

The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming! Free parking is great as well.
There is very little privacy for the restrooms and no changing rooms at the pool.

The room was wonderful, the roof bar beutifull,
Breakfast was great
The roof sauna, pool and hot tub, were well advertised and affected our desision,
The hot tub was cold, the pool was closed, the sauna shuts off early,
So we did not get to use any of those.

Really enjoyed this hotel. Location, comfort, parking, quality of the breakfast.

Favorite hotel from our trip.
The staff is a bit "stiff", it is a does not feel very "personal". e.g at breakfast they point you towards a table (why can't I chose myself???) and then insist on explaining you how the buffet works (an explanation which is limited to telling you where to find the hot and cold buffet = no added value).
The walk from the parking to the lobby is a bit weird and feels unfinished.

The location is superb. Virtually everything in Funchal is within easy walking distance. The staff were very friendly and determined to make our stay as enjoyable and stress free as possible.

In shopping centre so arrival can be difficult - access from road not easy with luggage.

Rooms—lighting is a mess. Too technical with lighting. Too dark. Smell of smoke from balcony from smoking area below. No lobby bar. Room layout very dated. No need for big desk. Felt like a fun house room with mirrors and open layout.

I love the location. The room was very spacious. The air conditioner was great. The staff was very accommodating especially Luis when we arrived. He met us down at the parking lot with our bags. The breakfast was phenomenal. Overall it was a great stay for the price and for the location.
