Wonderful location at the center of Funchal, yet quiet at evenings. Nice 24/7 staff which allows luggage storage before check in and after check out.
Very small room, clean but so old amenities.

No ventilation or air conditioning/ I was so hot in the room I had to sleep with wet towels around me. Mold in the “fridge” which actually didn’t work so I had to put two bags of ice in it to keep my medications cold. Awful bed. Location SO LOUD - music til midnight.

It is centrally located in Funchal. Direct access to all major places.
I even had to leave a bag for few days, and the receptionist was more than kind to accomodate. When I returned, I was early to check in, but they had the room ready with a big smile. They also speak very good english.
The rooms are really close, and might take you a while to sleep if you are not used to small noises.
But overall - considering that the location is central, it's a trade off.

Staff in the reception are extremely kind and helpful .location is perfect, everything nearby walks .I recommend book scuba diving wirh Madeira divepoint .restaurants nearby very cheap and great foods. We would stay here again
Only we got 1 soap and shower gel with my son. Usually each per person. When I asked cleaning ladies because we are 2 people in 1 room, they can't understand, I think, because they said enough 1 for 2 of us ?so I brought ourselves
