Wonderful
A large well located hotel with amazing swimming pools and fantastic breakfast. Our studio apartment was huge with amazing views of the ocean. Two very large and beautiful swimming pools overlooking the sea. Lots of bars, restaurants, and activities located around hotel. One of the best located hotels in Funchal between the Town Centre and Hotel Zone.
Payment for the hotel was very confusing as I had payment on arrival and they kept messaging me to pay in advance. Also, hotel was a bit dated in the Madeira Beach section but very clean and comfortable.

Disappointing
We stayed here one night before a very early flight. The staff were very accommodating when we arrived early (11am) as our previous accommodation elsewhere on the island had an early check-out. Although our room wasn’t ready, we went to the pool and they stored our luggage.
The location is great for a quick (or longer) visit to Funchal.
The view from the rooms and pool areas are fantastic and it’s so great to have access to a sea-swimming spot.
The rooms and corridors in this part of the hotel are dated (although this is probably reflected in the price). Inside it doesn’t feel 5 star. The air conditioning in our room didn’t work, which we didn’t realise until we were putting two small children to bed (so couldn’t get anyone to come and look at it). As a result, we didn’t sleep at all before our 3am start for our flight as it was roasting.

The Hotel saved our vacations, because the apartment we booked was in an awful condition and we had to look for a new accomodation. The room we suddenly booked was ready in an hour. Thank you!

Perfect location - 5-10 minute walk to old town and tons of good restaurants nearby. The unit had a kitchenette which was perfect for a light breakfast or lunch. The unit is right on the waterfront so beautiful view.

Location is superb...walking distance to centre of Funchal..we stayed in the studio, the best view facing the sea.. the kitchenette facilities are well thought of and stocked for 2 persons....super friendly staff and always accommodating....Great experience!!!
No beach and paid parking.

I stayed nearly two month and had two weeks holidays with the rest of the time in telework. So was my husband and the apartment was just perfect as we could work in different rooms. The cleaning lady was absolutely excellent and we did not have any problems with Wi-Fi. The hotel facilities are just prefect and the two extra bonus - we have access to the sea and the hotel is a 5 minute walk from Funchal. JUST PERFECT! Looking forward to return in September!
