Central location within short down hill walk of the centre of Funchal but quick to get out of Funchal for day trips. The house is very spacious and well equipped. Owner accommodated late checkout for evening flight.
A little traffic noise but this is to be expected from the central location.

The villa is very easy to find, close to the main road. The property is spacious, with each bedroom with its bathroom. The pool area and barbecue area are a plus+
Great parking area, would fit 3/4 cars easily.
We loved it and will be back for sure.
There wasn't any point we didn't like it.
Just a piece of advice, take some mosquito sprays are there some in the evenings or make sure your windows are closed.
A neighbour's house has a dog that barks sometimes in the mornings but that didn't stop us from having the best time ever.

The size of the property with every room having its own bathroom.
The hill getting back to villa from the sea. Easily solved by using the many taxis in the area.

The private rooms, the pool, good showers, the large kitchen and the quick service whenever something was broken or missing. There were a lot of restaurants nearby and you could easily go to the city center with a taxi (or walk).
The host was an hour too late for check-in, which resulted in our group waiting on the curb until we were able to get in. After this, everything was fine.

The setup of the villa was great for 7 people, especially as we had a big lounge area, full kitchen and our own ensuite in each room. The pool was perfect for cooling down after long days of walking and hiking. We were a short walk to a great cafe, a few different supermarkets, and lots of restaurants and car hire places. We walked into central Funchal a few times - it took us 25-30 minutes. It is steep to walk back uphill, however there are lots of buses/taxis running in the area, if you need them! It was also good to have a washing machine to use, with washing pods provided.
It would be handy to have some oil, salt and pepper in the kitchen for cooking.

Near Funchal city and easy to access some good interesting points.
The rooms were very big and there was a bathroom in each room, that was perfect for our stay.
We used the pool also in April when we stayed.
For sure I will come back here in the future.
It is near the street and sometimes there could be noise especially in the room with a window on the street

I have nothing but good things to say about Jaime and Luana were great every step of the way. They arranged transportation for us to get to the villa and also arranged a rental car for us. They were both there when we got there to do the paperwork. They made it so easy for us and we all appreciated. If we had a question, they answered promptly.
This isn't really a dislike. They only have a washer. We thought it was a combination washer and dryer. Maybe let people know that there is a drying rack in garage if you do happen to wash clothes.

It’s a nice size property. Spacious rooms with attached bathrooms.
There was nothing bad about this property. The only suggestion I can provide is about the staff coming to clean the house towards the end of our stay. It would have been better if they would have come half way of our stay to clean.

The villa is modern and clean, as on the photos. It has all the facilities that is required for comfortable living. The host is very kind, gave us all the information we needed before taking over the villa.
There was way too much chlorine in the pool.

Fantastic villa in Funchal!
Every bedroom has its own bathroom which is definitely a plus.
The house has everything that it is needed, we could prepare our own meals at home. There's also towels for the swimming pool which is a plus to have. Also umbrellas which can be useful as weather is unpredictable in Madeira.
The house is well located, there's place to park cars. I highly recommend :)

Jaime was very responsive, greeted us very nicely upon our arrival. The apartment was very clean and spacious, we stayed as a group of 6 but can hold 8 people very easily. The kitchen was very well equiped as well, so we were able to cook most of the days.
A table/chairs outside might be nice to have breakfast or dinner out when the weather is nice. No other comments, as we enjoyed very much.
