It was our honeymoon and we appreciated how they made it special by acknowledging it with Prosecco on ice and cheese waiting for us in the room!
We enjoyed the spa access, the views, the cleanliness and location, as well as the live music and Prosecco at breakfast

spa opening hours limited to 8PM for an adult only hotel in Madeira. Day time is generally for exploring the island, then in the evening you should enjoy the relaxing pool and spa

We stayed at this hotel during the last couple of nights of our trip in Madeira.
And it couldn't be better than that.
The view from the room was beautiful (well, after all - that's also the name of the hotel.. :)
We could actually see the impressive new year's fireworks from our balcony!
The breakfast was delicious, as well as the fabulous Desarma restaurant.
The spa had all the facilities that we needed (including heated indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna)
Parking was very convenient
And the staff really helped us in various requests.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Just take into account that walking back from the marina / city center to the hotel will involve a short uphill climb.

Centrally located, with free on site parking. Smooth check in and check out. Large rooms. Decent breakfast
Atmosphere lacks warmth overall. The view is nice in a way but hotel overlooks a large busy street so not ideal. It does feel like a one night stay hotel. If I’d consider again I’d look for an ocean view hotel

We booked classic room with mountain view and we were given a room with a partial sea view so that was great. Facilities, staff, cleanliness and breakfast was all great. Would highly recommend this place.
It was great to have access to indoor, outdoor and the spa facilities all included in the cost.

The Views Baia is an incredible hotel and the staff were wonderful. We stayed for a week and it was heaven from start to finish. We loved the spa access and the refillable water station on our floor.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. The pool was exceptionally clean as was the whole property. The buffet breakfast every morning had plenty of options and the food was good. The view from our room was lovely as we had an ocean view. The staff was helpful, and we would like to thank Lidia at the concierge desk for being so kind and helpful. We could walk to the downtown area in ten minutes.

We enjoyed being just outside of the chaos of Funchal. The hotel was very centrally located to exploring the island, and also a bit secluded so we could just enjoy the property after getting back from a day of exploring.

From the deluxe room, we had a wonderful view on the city and the sea. It‘s only 15 min by foot to the sea shore or to the city center. Within 10 min you reach Madeira Plaza (shopping center) with food court and supermarket (Pingo Doce).
Parking is available at the bottom of the hotel. Breakfast was ample and of good quality.
Be aware that this hotel is „entangled“ by several steep roads, bridges and sharp curves, all contributing to significant traffic noise, also at night. We did not use the swimming-pool which looked from above a bit murky in the afternoon (people don’t use the showers!!!)

We did a girls trip to the island and stayed here as our main hub the whole trip doing adventures to and from via car. Massive pros to this hotel: free parking, easy to walk to and from town, or if you get a little lazy one night after hiking too much that day it’s a 5 euro taxi back from downtown Funchal. So accessible. The room we got was a two twin studio and it was perfect. We had a little kitchen which was great for what we needed, the mini fridge was a huge perk and a small balcony. The set up couldn’t have been better for our needs. Plus the free breakfast really knocked it out of the park. We were able to grab good food before leaving for daily adventures and even get bananas for the road, or return from sunrise hikes to food which was also great since it was open from 730-1030! Overall we spent little time actually enjoying the hotel but we did break up our activities with some spa treatments which were lovely and fair priced as well. All around, no complaints for our style of trip.
The ONLY negative I have to say is Google maps will tell you to try to turn left over a solid white line into this property which is illegal and bad because it’s a blind curb. If you continue straight and double back via a round about it’s your best shot! Otherwise, all positives!

My wife and I stayed 5 nights during August. Clean comfortable room with view of Funchal. Great swimming pools and spa with plenty of available chairs. Breakfast was plentiful, tasty and diverse. We also had 3 delicious dinners while they played different music each evening.
The hotel is a kilometer downhill walk to the marina and night life. We rented a car and the hotel location made an easy daily drive to Madeira's beautiful sites.
We loved our stay at the Views hotel. But it seemed unusual that they didn't have/offer help with luggage and you have to remember to specify what days you want your room cleaned.

The food was delicious! The views from our room was breathtaking. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming! Lidia went out and beyond to accommodate us and made us feel special for our 18th anniversary!
