Extra clean rooms, houskeeping comes every day and cleans entire room in detail. Location si really good, a lot of restaurants around and a short walk (cca 20 min mostly flat) to city center. Amazing staff that helped us a lot since we arrived without our luggage because it was lost (we got all tolietries that we needed for first few days, even toothbrush) and they were really helpful at breakfast since I am a celiac so they made sure to prepare separate food upon request, really good breakfast with allergy options. The room was good size with balcony with amazing view. Two swimmnig pools, one is heated and it never gets too crowded which is a very big plus.
Parking is scarse, there are only few spots in hotel and if you come late in the day you have to park few streets away. There is no place to dry your towels or clothes (there is a strig in bathroom but clothes do not dry they stay wet - no ventilation in the bathroom and you are not allowed to put it on balcony handle to dry, you can put it on the chair but the space is limited).

Location is near to city center, room is clean, breakfast is very good, staff is very kind.
Limited parking spots, if you cannot find one you need to park far away in the street.

We loved a welcoming and knowledgeable front desk staff, the sea view through our room, huge breakfast selections, hot showers, excellent location, beautiful plants on the grounds of the hotel.
As 4 star hotel, we were disappointed to discover shower robes with holes in it. Also, disposable slippers would be nice. There was no shampoo and conditioner, just a body soap. The water temperature in a hot tub was freezing cold.

Spacious room, clean as well. Breakfast was great.
No parking even though advertised, we had to park somewhere on the streets and pay as well. No problem, but just dont advertise with free parking if its not there. Shower was ok, but not great. Beds were terrible, a wooden plank is more comfortable.

Fantastic reception staff. Hotel clean and contemporary.
Breakfast selection was great- loved the omelette station.
Yeah!! Electrical plugs on bedside tables and reading lights. ❤️
Beds were very comfortable!
Instant coffee in the room doesn’t cut it for a contemporary upscale hotel like this. Where’s the Nespresso? At minimum, have an automatic coffee machine in reception.
A filtered water station to refill water bottles at reception would also be nice.

I did not have very high hopes for this hotel since it was the less expensive Enotel, but it exceeded my expectations. Great location, spacious rooms, comfortable lounge, nice pool, huge Turkish bath, nice food.
Madeira is such a magical space. Our stay was way too short.
Really, no negatives. Even the bed which was much firmer than I am used to, was very good for my aching back. I am actually going to get a frim matress at home now.

Everything was okay and clean. There's a small fridge in the room, also trash separation and they offer to clean the room every day.
Breakfast was good with quite a big variety, also live cooking for omelette and such.
The rooftop terrace was really great, they should use it more.. it's like a "hidden location" not a lot of people go there.
They have a heated small swimming pool.
The sound insulation of the windows and building is a bit lacking, as others mentioned, if you're a light sleeper take some sound insulation ear plugs or such, there's also an event located just behind the hotel, in the Park, and if there's a party, the music is very loud.. the windows were vibrating for the Bass.
It's great that they clean the room every day but they also just change the towels even if they're not in the shower floor, for some ppl that's maybe okay but it's not eco friendly, if maybe every two or three days, definitely better for the environment.
Very strict policy with breakfast time, so if you arrive 10:15 (breakfast until 10:30) they are very stressed out that they need to clean and ready the restaurant for lunch.

Really nice hotel with a pool and wet spa. It was clean and our roon was nice, staff were great, the buffet breakfast was decent. Nice bars, restaurants near by plus a couple of supermarkets and a patisserie. On the airport bus route too.
If your neighbours were noisy you can here them in your room
