Such a great, central, comfortable apartment. Just what we needed to walk easily to every part of old and Centro Funchal! Edificio Charles team were attentive, kind and efficient, really doing more than necessary to make our stay easy and pleasant. Obrigado!

Fantastic location , close to shops, bars and cafes. The promenade was a short 5 to 10mins walk. The apartment was well maintained, and fresh towels supplied regularly. We were on the third floor and thankfully there was a lift! Access to the building was easy, and Jose communicated well.
There was street noise at night time, mainly on Saturday night. Earplugs could help! Despite the noise,we would stay here again

Very good location in the city centre if you like that shopping and restaurants and even a supermarket are all around, very clean, a coffee machine with coffee was also nice.
The bed and pillows were not that comfortable, but the staff was very helpful and they changed pillows as I requested.

Excellent location. Very clean. Great layout. It had its own AC unit. Check in instructions were clear and concise.
Bed and the pillows were not comfortable.
Low water pressure in the bathroom sink and shower.
Wifi was slow. I had to use my cellular data most of the time.

I can't imagine having stayed anywhere more suitable for us.Location perfect, able to walk everywhere. Many restaurants and shops around us.On a main square great . Apartment was well equipped and very clean.Highly recommend.A y questions were answered promptly

The location was fabulous and we had one of the larger apartments on the third floor with a dining table and walk in wardrobe.
Everything was spotlessly clean with towels changed every couple of days and bed sheets and cleaning twice per week.
Nothing to dislike.

Perfect, central location, spacious, very clean apartment room, with nice kitchen, equipped with everything you need. Close to the sea, restaurants, breakfast place, airport bus. Lovely, very friendly cleaning personnel! All in all it's a very nice, super clean little place! I would choose it again.
Communication with Jose could improve a bit. When I arrived instead a 'welcome' he was coming with the POS terminal as they couldn't deduct the accomodation fee in advance. Then he showed me the elevator and 'bye'. No code to enter the room, but the cleaning lady called him and asked him to send me the details. Be a bit more welcoming and a smile is always free.
The street is a bit noisy, but it's not the hotel's fault, so take your earplugs.
I would also put an extra mattress on the bed to make it more comfortable as the beds are a bit tough.

It is located in the very center of the Funchal, walking distance to the promenade, bus stops. Very comfortable bed, a lot of towels. Kitchen is well equipped, a big supermarket is 7 min walk from the apartment.
Ants, you can find a lot of them in the kitchen.
