A/C not working from day 1 wasn’t fixed till we left- 8 nights later
Cleaner didn’t clean room before we checked in. Had also to ask her to clean and change the bed sheets as they were dirty with make up.

Very easy communication with Miguel, our host. We had an issue in our room, and immediately it was resolved. The staff, Desiree, was very kind and accommodating to our requests and needs. The location is superb. Near public transportation bus stop, and a lot of places in the old city, garden, and marina of Madeira is walkable. Supermarket and restaurants are very near. And if you’re renting a car, there is free parking at the basement of the hotel. Early reservation with Miguel should be done.

From the beginning the whole experience was wonderful! The host Miguel explained everything about check-in, room and how the cleaning works and etc. And in general he was great person, sometimes we asked him some questions about the city and etc and he answered all of them. Also he helped us to find our forgotten things when we already left the apartments. Huge thanks! The kitchen with fridge in the room was great - we could cook something at home and eat at the cute balcony with great view. AC works perfectly when there was too warm. Bathroom was spacious. In general the whole stay was great!
It would be 10 out of 10 but we decreased our value due to Wi-Fi - there was almost no connection in our room on 3rd floor.

Due to some complications we couldn't spent the whole stay in the studio we'd chosen. The Receptionist David offer us a compensation which was a stay in a newly refurbished apartament and a discount. The service was higly professional, we were truly amazed!
The location is brilliant, every spot is within walking distance.
The hotel itself a little bit oldfashioned but very clean. A really głos value for money.
A really nice add is a coffee machine in the living room.
