1. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
2. The rooms, living room, and kitchen were spacious enough, and the balcony had a great night view.
1. The air conditioning in the room wasn't cold enough.
2. The main street is just down the street from the hotel, which is on a small slope, but it's still a walkable distance.

A great place in a very convenient location close to everything you can possibly need in central Funchal. Restaurants, promenade, buses, parks and shops are just on your doorstep.I was in a spacious flat with a balcony and a beautiful view of the mountain. The flat was very well equipped with everything I could need.
The place is impeccably clean with daily cleaning provided. And above all, everyone who works in the place was so helpful and friendly and gave me great advice.
Truly a value for money place, would stay there again. I can especially recommend for solo travelers like me.

Excellent location, very clean, and equipped with everything you might need. It’s close to the mall, the marina, the old town, and the main streets. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby.

Location! Very central to all you want to explore. Space was clean and large.
Furniture is older and not comfortable. Beds were very hard. We did not get a balcony despite thinking we booked one. We were told you need to request one. We were on the front of the building which is right across from a busy Casino on a very busy road. It was very noisy…at all times.

We really enjoyed our multi-night stay here.
The location is great, and having its own parking space is super convenient for those renting a car.
Our room had a balcony and was also equipped with a bathtub and a kitchen. So nice to be able to take a bath at the end of the day to relax sore muscles, cook a delicious meal for ourselves, and welcome the first rays of the sunrise from the balcony.
We also appreciated the insightful tips and suggestions Miguel shared with us. Obrigado!
A small addition such as salt and cooking oil in the kitchen would be much appreciated.

A/C not working from day 1 wasn’t fixed till we left- 8 nights later

Very easy communication with Miguel, our host. We had an issue in our room, and immediately it was resolved. The staff, Desiree, was very kind and accommodating to our requests and needs. The location is superb. Near public transportation bus stop, and a lot of places in the old city, garden, and marina of Madeira is walkable. Supermarket and restaurants are very near. And if you’re renting a car, there is free parking at the basement of the hotel. Early reservation with Miguel should be done.

From the beginning the whole experience was wonderful! The host Miguel explained everything about check-in, room and how the cleaning works and etc. And in general he was great person, sometimes we asked him some questions about the city and etc and he answered all of them. Also he helped us to find our forgotten things when we already left the apartments. Huge thanks! The kitchen with fridge in the room was great - we could cook something at home and eat at the cute balcony with great view. AC works perfectly when there was too warm. Bathroom was spacious. In general the whole stay was great!
It would be 10 out of 10 but we decreased our value due to Wi-Fi - there was almost no connection in our room on 3rd floor.
