The location is very good, close to the centre and the supermarket, David was very patient to give us travel advice as I didn't drive and had to use public transport, he printed out the timetables for us, he was excellent.
The double bed was comfortable, but the single bed wasn't comfortable ( Three of us).

The staff here were very friendly and the location is ideal. The price was great and the room was huge. The kitchen had everything you needed, including a blender and toaster. Housekeeping did a great job.
The air conditioning barely worked and the shower was quite outdated.

From the moment of our arrival there were only positive emotions.
Our flight arrived late and I had pre-arranged with Miguel the settlement procedure.
In the end the flight arrived on time and we found Miguel's colleague who greeted us in a friendly manner and advised us on what to visit in Madeira.
The location of the hotel is super !
Everything is close by !
The hotel is a bit tired, but the rooms are comfortable, the hospitality of the staff, the excellent location makes your holiday excellent !
I believe that the price corresponds to the quality !
So I recommend !

We spent ten nights in our apartment and we couldn't be more happy about it: location is perfect, both to visit the city on foot and to take public transportation: several bus lines stop just in front of the building (including the bus to and from the airport) and also the harbour is really close. There is a supermarket just 5 minutes walking distance, a wonderful bakery even nearer and the casino/disco (if interested!) is just across the road.
The apartment we stayed in was really spacious, with kitchen, living area, bedroom and bathroom (and a small balcony too, perfect to drink something or just to dry off clothes and hiking shoes), so it did not feel claustrophobic at all and was on the contrary super comfortable and airy. Kitchen was also super equipped with all the necessary for a no-stress stay.
Basic cleaning was done everyday.
Staff people were wonderful, always ready to help and very kind and available.
I cannot recommend this place enough!!!

P.S. there is also a really nice shared communal area with water, hot drinks, books... We did not use it (there was so much to do in the island in just 10 days!), but it was a nice additional touch!
We really loved everything.
It's true that furniture and apartments in general are not really new, as I read in some reviews, but really, this is NOT an issue.
Your stay will be so perfect that you will not even notice that!!!

Very kind stuff, they gave us a lot of advice. Parking was available, the apartment was big and nice. Daily service exchanged towels and cleaned rooms. It was near the main street and close to the city center, anyway it was not loud for us.

Very good, comfortable and spacious apartment in very good location near the centre of Funchal. Also very friendly and helpfull staff. We got late check-out until 6 pm without any problem and we didn't have to pay extra.
It is sometimes noisy because of the traffic on the street next to the apartament.

Great location within walking distance to Funchal centrum, bakery, supermarket, shopping mall, everything is closeby. Offering free parking in such a location in a great plus. As other reviewers have mentioned, the parking garage is a little bit narrow, but if you take it slow, you can park any car here and the staff has also helped to navigate. I had a Volvo XC40 which is a relatively big car and it fitted into the garage. The room was very well equipped, also with kitchen.
Even if I was there in November, the room was very warm and it did not help that I kept the window open throughout the night (and got some mosquito bites this way). I tried to operate the AC but it did not really blow any cold air - you could see that's it a very old air conditioning machine - some repair would be necessary here (or the installation of modern ACs).

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The reception area was clean.
The bathroom and kitchen could have done with a better and more thorough clean. The bathroom sink under the rim is black. The kitchen floor next to the fridge is dirty and the pans kitchen utensils pots pans could be updated. The cooker hob button do not have anymore writing so very difficult to know what heat it is on.

Staff were amazing. Great location. Good sized apartment.
The only downside, although not an issue for me. The underground car park was a bit of a struggle for I get into. Very tight space. Got used to it after first day.
