Lovely position near banana trees
The apartment it was on ground floor with no windows, just main door. Therefore no light and umid inside. With a bit of smell of mould.

Very good location, nice and quiet area. Room was good, value for money. We enjoyed it.
There is no reception so it was a little bit difficult to find the right property. There is no daily room cleaning so if you are staying for a little longer it is a small problem with rubbish, toilet paper etc.
Be prepare for mosquitos.

Well, in my opinion the location is perfect, you can park your car in front of house or 1-2 min away.Owned by a beautiful family you got pretty much everything you need.We got a room with shower and a small kitchen,a beautiful garden with ocean view and banana trees around. Nothing luxurious but decent, we were there for the hiking and visiting the island so we didn't need more

Location is wonderful, on a cliff just outside the city overlooking Praia Formosa. The backyard is large and well endowed with luxurious vegetation, sunbeds and an open-air kitchen.
Heating and air conditioning systems were not present - not that Madeira's climate would make them necessary for more than a couple of days per year...

Communications with the staff were great, the location is good (very close to the bus stop)
It would have been the best value and great apartment if there was no smell from the bathroom.
The smell from the bathroom was not something that anyone could endure.
I chose this location based on good reviews, I can see why there are good reviews, but the smell in my room during those nights was impossible to ignore. It was 10 times worse than any smell I experiences from any room in the past.

Our room was clean and comfortable.The building is huge and very quiet ,so you don't hear the other guests or cars .Joana the owner of the building is such a nice person and made our vacation very special! She gave us the best tips and organized a vehicle for us on the same Day! On top of that was the car brought to us infront of the Apartment building !!! Thank you Joana and of course the staff we're looking forward to see you again ! ❤️

The view from the terrace was truly beautiful!
However, during my entire stay there, I did nothing but swatt the mosquitoes and my ankles were sore, so I couldn't enjoy a single minute at all!

This house is located in very calm and quiet area, thus you won’t have there many tourists and touristic restaurants and pubs. Around the house there are banana fields so you can enjoy this view. The house is very well equipped - kitchen, place to rest and relax. Rooms are big and clean. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We were getting basket of fresh bananas every morning ?
The common space like kitchen require cleaning a bit more often. The rooms are very cosy however there is no hanger in the bathroom nor any shelf to put your shampoo on (just a suggestion of improvement).
