There’s not a single fireplace in use. Staff admits new owner doesn’t allow fires to burn. In fireplaces. In a mountain town. !?

Spa gets packed. Outdoor hot tubs are very small. One couple - maybe two if you know each other

Small, but nice Sauna landscape
Only a few polish TV channels.
Everything throughout the Hotel (and the country) written only in Polish.
It is unacceptable for a hotel that advertises itself as a five star hotel to not have international TV in the rooms and not having English language communication.
Casting iPhone/laptop on TV did not work, despite following the instructions on the TV. Casting Android phone worked once accidentally, but could not be repeated ever again.
Sauna full of Polish and Hungarian people coming from the pool and sitting in wet bathing suits, in the 70-90 degree chambers. These prude people clearly have no clue, what a sauna is for. They think, it's some kind of amusement park attraction that you try for five minutes. Staff should enforce textil free entrance. If you are the only one who is doing it right, it might get unpleasant.

Prime location. Right in the heart of Zakopane, with easy access to the shops, market stalls, and restaurants. Walking distance to the Gubolawka funicular. The hotel restaurant, Halka, was the best meal I had in Poland. Breakfast had a great variety of options and was consistently good. I booked a room with a balcony and view of the mountains. I felt it was worth it. I didn't book any time in the spa, but the wellness/pool area was fantastic. My only regret is that the jacuzzis were all being used the one night I wanted to relax after hiking to Morskie Oko. But the pool was still lovely, and it's located an easy distance from some great thermal baths. Private parking was a huge plus.
The hotel was in process of updating photos/images for their website (I assume) and so there was a photo crew that seemed to be everywhere around the hotel in my first days. A necessary evil, so not a real complaint. Just slightly awkward at a few moments.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful. I liked everything without exception. The location is excellent and close to all the main attractions, the services are great, the breakfast is varied and delicious, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Thank you for such a great experience.

The staff is amazing, constantly working to improve your stay and make you comfortable. The breakfast is outstanding. It’s easy to walk into the heart of the city. Really helpful concierge . Yummy caramels. The spa/pool area is great, although it can be overrun with children.
Breakfast starts late at 7:30 am, so if you have an early train or are going early to hike Morskie Oko, you could miss breakfast. But staff accommodated us by packing us excellent take away lunches. The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors talking. I wish they did not permit smoking in the balcony. It made our balcony useless because our neighbors were always smoking.
