The food, in the morning, was very good.

Location near the main train station
Room just renovated and not completely equipped. But it was not a big deal, just a little inconvenience.

I have stayed there several times but was disappointed on this occasion
The hotel has expanded but has just one lift so when youre on the 5th floor, getting down to the ground floor can be very challenging
On one day, I returned to find my room was unlocked. I immediately raised this with the receptionist and advised him to report the incident to the management.
I was disappointed that at least 2 fire doors were wedged open - a very dangerous thing to do
Finally, the breakfast room was manic on May 2nd and was open an hour later than scheduled normally and I was told this was because of the public holidays.

The location is very good - by walking distance from the city center. The staff is kind and the check-in was very fast. Rooms are clean and spacious. Nice breakfast.
The hotel was in the finishing stages of a renovation. Our room was not yet renovated, but the only downside of this was the lack of power sockets - one in the room and one in the bathroom.

Actually, I was sent to a sister hotel - The European - because The Polonia was being renovated. Instead of the single room I had paid for I was given a very nice suite. Needless to say, it was an extremely comfortable night and I wished I could have stayed longer. I am looking forward to staying in The Polonia when it has been updated.
A typical Polish hotel breakfast is nothing to get excited about. This was no exception and the reason I had booked into The Polonia.

Amazing property at the best location possible,several supermarkets,cafes,restaurants etc around. Breakfast was decent. More than enough. Rooms were big. Very great value for money!
The staff in the hotels act like zombies, its really weird. They are so cold and inattentive. Having worked in hospitality industry in the past I feel they are not fit for the job and better off as a cashier in a supermarket. Apart from that the hotel was great.
