The hotel has recently been renovated to a very high standard. Excellent location. Spa area was great too. Luggage storage was useful too.
Room was dark. The over bath shower was very difficult (and dangerous) to get in and out of.
Also 2 strong fingers were required to flush the toilet.
A lot of small plastic bottles of toiletries is not very eco friendly.

Nicely designed bathroom and a very comfortable bed.
The place isn’t insulated well — you could clearly hear someone showering in the next room.

The pool and spa area was nice .
Breakfast was nice and the staff were polite and helpful
The curtains don’t close properly , they are on a wire. The shower is ridiculous , the hands free holder is rather low and the water flys out the screen area . The atmosphere is dark and aged in the room we were in - definite only a 3 star property . It needs a renovation, the paint on our ceiling was peeling and walls scuffed and marked . Terrible lighting

Amazing experience. Sauna, spa etc all in the stay. We enjoyed it a lot.
The only thing that was weird is that the bathroom has a “see through glass wall” which we first thought was cute, but quickly realised you can basically see from the bed the person that was at the toilet doing their business. So it was a bit strange haha
