Wonderful
The property is neat and nicely secluded, being located in the courtyard of a larger building. There is no staff but the instructions to enter were very clear and precise so we had no trouble finding it and getting in. The room itself was great, spacious & clean and had a small pantry with a fridge and a hotplate that served us well in preparing / heating small meals. Coffee, Tea & sugar was also provided which was a nice touch.
The skylight had no way of covering it so light enters early morning. The beds are on the higher level and the steps of the staircase are a little unusual so you have to be mindful of your footing. The bathroom lighting for the mirror was way off to one side so personal grooming was difficult as only one side of your face gets light. A light over the pantry counter would have been nice too. For the most part it was quiet but the neighbours of the adjacent property threw a party one night and the walls between our room and their property were not thick enough to keep out the music and them talking till the wee hours.

Local neighbourhood, clean room with interesting loft sleeping.
No microwave, further from metro station, no available parking because of reconstruction (but you can park in the neighbourhood or in Kaufland nearby for free).

Room and neighbourhood was quiet. It had the basic staff. Need 20-25 minutes to old city with bus

Good value for money. Basic cooking facilities. Decent amount of space for the price. Check in process was quite easy. Good parking on the streets.
Very noisy fridge. Lethal stairs up to the bed balcony. Photos in the listing are of several different rooms. Some are much nicer than others by the looks of things. Parking on the property didn't really make sense. Didn't end up using it.

A shower curtain in the bathroom and a wall mirror would be nice to have in the room. Other than that, everything was good ?
Love how unique the stairs to the beds were but I find the design quite dangerous especially for those who are used to climbing regular looking stairs.

Super clean, access to everything was fairly easy, easy check-in. Lockbox easily available, no issues throughout the stay. Lovely to speak with the host about things, didn't have many concerns anyhow, however.
Small kitchen, probably not great for a long-term stay, a bit far from places to eat and buy groceries. However, not really huge issues for most!

Honestly? For that price I was pleasantly surprised with what I saw. The room was nice and cosy. I was travelling alone but it could easily host two other people. The hosts were kind and informative with any questions that I had throughout my stay. Overall I'd easily give this place a 10/10 for a cheap, peaceful and comfortable stay and if I ever visit Warsaw again I'd definitely try to stay at Szmulson once again!
