Location, accessibility of gym and indoor swimming pool
Public shower area water drain wasn’t working well, water was everywhere to get in and out of shower. Pool was bit darker than other pools. They told me that they are providing two water can every day but they did only first two days. I bought water myself from the grocery store.

The room was large and the bathroom provided a separate tub and shower. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and the breakfast offered many delicious choices.
We liked everything. It was a top notch hotel. It was a little distance from the city square, but the tram is right next to it and provides easy access. Also, we enjoyed being next to the Lazienki park and palace.

The experience overall was alright, facilities were fine.
The room (& hotel in general) could take a lot of improvement for a 5 stars - feels very old and ignored. Still acceptable though.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was large, and so was the bathtub. Multiple locks on the door gave us greater privacy and security.
Breakfast was delicious and included a large variety of cold and warm foods, as well as many juices and hot drinks selection.
Staff were always friendly and very helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel is located close to the Royal Baths park, as well as many public transportation nodes (buses and trams), which made it easier to reach destinations far from the hotel.
The room had poor noise isolation, and we could hear other guests moving around the adjacent rooms (opening and closing their cabinets and talking for example).
First floor rooms weren't initially stocked with bathrobes, however that was mentioned before at the front desk, and was quickly remediated by the cleaning staff on the next day.

A "Regent" in name only. Toxic atmosphere and aggressive security.
Do not be fooled by the "Regent" branding. This property is no longer part of a premium international chain; it is managed by a local company, and the difference in quality is appalling.
1. Unprofessional and Aggressive Security:
Our experience was completely ruined by a security guard named Bartosz. This man clearly does not understand his place or his job in a 5-star hotel. He approached us without any greeting—no "Hello," no "Madam," no "Sir." Instead of professional hospitality, he immediately started barking questions at us, demanding to know our room number in a very confrontational tone.
When we answered and asked what the problem was, he didn't even think to apologize. He continued to behave with extreme arrogance, as if he owns the hotel himself. It is absurd because he literally lives off the money of the guests who stay here, yet he treats them like intruders. His communication isn't "conversation"—it is just aggressive barking. He is a total disgrace to the service industry and has no idea how to behave in a luxury establishment.
2. Disgusting and Unsafe Food:
The catering is a serious health risk. We ordered the Beef Tartare, and it was visibly spoiled. It had a dark, dry film on the surface, indicating it had been sitting in a fridge for days. Even the egg yolk looked old. Serving stale, pre-prepared raw meat in a "luxury" hotel is not just bad service—it is dangerous.
Conclusion:
This is a local business hiding behind a famous name. They have zero service culture, aggressive security who think they are above the guests, and a complete lack of respect. It is a shame for the Regent name. Avoid at all costs.
