Great location. Nice staff. They organize something (e.g. bingo) every evening.
While it was much more expensive than the other hostels I booked in Poland, it did offer less value (e.g. no towels, shampoo or breakfast included).
Other people left the toilet in a state I would be ashamed to leave it. One even puked in the sink without cleaning it afterwards.

The place is very clean, the stuff are so nice, beds are comfy, heaters are better than expected, the neighborhood during Christmas was interesting and has many activities and fascinating Christmas market. The big locker inside the room was a life-saver. The system of checking-in, staying and checking-out was very organized and never faced any challenges or needed anything during my stay (everything was automated and this is very practical and efficient). It's also near several public transportation options so commuting was very accessible. Not to mention, it was a great value for money.
It would be better if the number of beds inside the room was smaller because 8 beds inside a very small room with only one bathroom gets challenging. I was lucky enough that the room wasn't fully occupied during most of my stay except for 1 night where the room was almost fully occupied, it wasn't very comfortable. Although it's located inside the old town, which is a very nice and lively place during Christmas, it's considered far from the main downtown which has most of the entertainment and visits, it usually takes me 30-40 minutes to commute daily to any place (it was ok given a very accessible public transport system, though!)

the beds are very comfortable with curtains! daily activities organized by the staff to help with socializing

*Location. Location, Location. Restaurants, cafes, the old town ambience, a Bar Mleczny, Carrefour express and Zabka nearby.
*Friendly helpful staff especially Didi, but everyone at reception could communicate in English and nothing was ever too much to ask (Thanks Frank, Maciej, Kasia, Basia, Dominika, Witek and the rest!). They serve a good coffee at reception as well.
*We stayed here on a Lonely Planet recommendation, not once but twice, at the end of September and returned early October after travelling through Poland. Because we were staying there, we could store our excess luggage there for free. *Because we were staying in the separate building, a few doors down from the Hostel, we had free access to a front load washing machine for our clothes (in the shared kitchen), but was then able to use the Hostel clothes dryer for a fee.
* Ubers can drop off and pick up directly out front (which is not always the case in "Old Towns").
*The shared kitchen (amongst 3 rooms), allowed us to prepare our own dinner and breakfast if we chose to.
*The option to join in with hostel activities, notified by a WhatsApp chat group.

Had an unpleasant experience with the young guy at reception in the morning. He seemed to be in a bad mood, looked and acted very unfriendly. When I asked for a tag ?️ for my stored luggage, he told me to get out and said he’d give it later. When I asked him to be more respectful, he replied “that’s the way I speak.” It’s not my fault if he hates his job. Because of that, I don’t recommend this place.

It was a super social place with very good beds. They had people organizing events every day and areas to work. Shoutout to Cristina for organizing the activities, had a blast!
Some prices of the private rooms with shared bathrooms were prices that in other places were of rooms with private bathroom but overall they were good.
