Security and communication with staff very good. Thoughtfully prepared and generous breakfast by a very nice lady- was not able to eat everything but it kept me full for the whole day. Rooms clean and comfy with good bathroom, especially for the price in the city. Slept very well. Location also very good but not on a busy street. Good for longer stays as well as just for one night. The option for doing laundry is convenient. Super quiet in the winter time.
Not the fault of the hostel, but the building is quite old and so sometimes the plumbing caused unpleasant smells. If you are vegetarian then possibly the breakfast can be a bit limited unless you tell the hosts, perhaps they would accommodate.

The room was on the last floor. The building has an elevator. The hostel's reception is a bit hard to find, you should go inside the arch, there the sign is already visible. The reception is on the first floor (not the ground floor at the entrance). The room was actually consisting of 2 separate rooms, both had TVs. There was a kettle with coffee-tea bags. The breakfast was rich and super tasty. The hostel is well located.

My stay at Emka Hostel in Warsaw was excellent. The location is perfect, close to the city center and main attractions. The place is clean, comfortable, and quiet, offering great value for the price. Staff were friendly and helpful, making it a great choice for travelers exploring Warsaw.

The room was already quite worn out, the shelves were broken, there was a terrible stench of sewage in the corridor on the stairs, and the room had a pungent smell of chemicals, apparently to interrupt other smells.
We were in room #3, on the 2nd floor above the Kameralna Restauracja restaurant. On the night of Friday to Saturday, and from Saturday to Sunday, it is impossible to sleep in the room, the music from the restaurant is so loud until 1-2 am that you feel the vibration!!! There is no one to complain to, the reception at the hotel does not work at this time, phone numbers do not answer. Complaints to the restaurant did not help, no one cares about you. Through the building security we got through to the head of the hostel, for 2 nights neither I nor the children could rest, around 12 am we were finally given the keys to another room and we were finally able to go to bed.
There was no information about noisy neighbors during the booking, it is impossible to rest and sleep when the restaurant is on holiday.
The breakfast is not bad, but monotonous, all 3 days of stay everything was the same for breakfast, I got bored.

Everything was great. I had a good connection with the airport (direct bus 175). I arrived late in the evening, after checkin time, and the left the keys at the security.
The breakfast was great, I had a lot to eat. In the checkout day, I could leave my luggage at the hostel for free throughout the day.

Excellent location and easy (and cheap) to get there by the bus (line 175). The room was clean with a good bathroom. The checking process was easy and they were very helpful.
If you are into beer, you have a beer bar with a 100 beers on tap (no kidding) next door.
A little bit of clarification of how to see the hostel entrance would have been appreciated. To reach the reception, you have to go in what it looks like the entrance of a garage, then at the corner you'll see a door (the first door is the common room/dining room), and then you have to go to the first floor.
Moreover, it would've been nice to have some indications of how to reach the dining room.
Finally, the breakfast was good in quantity, but not it might not be the best quality. I guess for the same price I could've had something better at a nearby café. However, it had the basics and a waffle! All in all, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have breakfast close to the hostel.
