What I've got for this price was totally fine to me; fee minutes away from sandy beach, peacefu, very good breakfast, bunch of varieties.
The room was fine to me.. a little bit from 1980 but I came to enjoy in Gdansk and Sopot, not staying in the room for a whole day.
For all romantic souls, enjoying your morning, day or evening by the beach, Zdroj is fee minutes away ☺️
There's no elevator, "vintage" ambient ?

The location was excellent, just close to the beach. Breakfast was good, and the room suited our family well. The staff was friendly, making our stay even more pleasant. It had everything needed for a quick and easy stay.
The potholes in the parking area could be better fixed than just using bricks. Also, some small birds from outside were stealing food from the canteen, which is something that should be addressed.

Very cultured and polite staff, breakfast is varied for every taste from vegetarian to meat lovers.
I would like the parking to be free for customers, my family is not the first time in this hotel, we are regular customers and there were cases when one time you come parking is paid, another time parking is free. In a way, every visit is a kind of quest. I would like stability in this matter.

It should be possible to book accommodations that meet modern standards of aesthetic, and yet that are as cheap as this bed and breakfast. Unfortunately, every other options sported the astronomical prices of 500 to 700 zł a night, a cost I consider ludicrous considering all I needed was a bed, a shower and a toilet.
And sopocki zdrój provided exactly that. A small, studio-like bedroom with an even smaller bathroom in a typical Polish communist building. No extras or fluff because it isn’t needed, and we are really aiming for the simplest possible accommodations. That being said, the overall aesthetic leaves a lot to be desired. As I said, a jump into modernity includes a jump into a higher price bracket, which genuinely should not be the case as modern aesthetic should be the standard everywhere. And it remains deeply ironic how the hotel has a privileged view of the Marriot right across it, with its logo shining in your face if you bother to open the blinds they’ve strategically lowered to cover it, and its glaring light, up.
The establishment was incredibly clean and well taken care of, the showers were a tad annoying as the hot water took time, but otherwise served its purpose of providing you with those much needed showers in those blazing summer heats.
All in all, Zopocki Zdrój will truly provide you with the bare, barest of minimum, and nothing more. I really do wish that aesthetic was part of the package, though.
Breakfast is very casual despite its price and you’d benefit more from having breakfast elsewhere for a cheaper price and yet more quality food. Walls are maybe not the thickest so sometimes if the neighbours are particularly loud, you can hear them—which of course will be entirely dependent on whether they are being loud, there were no issues at night time for instance.
